In this video, we visit Flores, Guatemala with TJ and Terri from @tntadvantures4200. We grabbed some lunch at Maple & Tocino before heading to The Jungle School for a couple of relaxing days in the Guatemalan jungle.
Our stay at Kantetul was truly special. The facility is not officially opened yet, but we were welcomed by the wonderful owners and operators of The Jungle School to stay for a few nights. We had an amazing time here, and we are really excited for the place to open officially. We sincerely hope that it becomes a popular destination for travelers in this region of Guatemala because there's no good reason it shouldn't. It has everything!
While we were at The Jungle School, Suzanne took some time out of her very busy day to show us all around the facilities. A highlight for us was the wood shop at Itza Wood. The quality of products being produced there is unequaled. We have ordered some things for ourselves at www.itzawood.com and we encourage all of you to do the same. Their styles are gorgeous, the woods are sustainably harvested, and the proceeds help teach children in an underserved area of the globe. What's not to love?
We considered a work-stay arrangement at The Jungle School, but ultimately the timing was not quite right, yet. Someday, we will definitely return. We would love to give some time to good people who are doing good in such a beautiful area.

We try to upload them Sundays and Wednesdays, but you never know. Internet access can be a challenge. Liking, commenting, subscribing, and sharing all helps RU-vid - AND US - know we're doing a good job and we should keep it up. If you'd like to see something else, let us know! We'd be happy for recommendations.
