Frog quest is amazing! Im so glad they actually put a quirky and just pure fun quest into the game. Not every quest needs to provide cool rewards. I hope they add in more fun quests like it in the future.
I like what its done for the community, you share a field at perilous moons and when i was doing thieving everyone would isntantly try and escape the house. It was fun seeing so many players together.
The Frog quest was in place more so for nostalgia purposes and was written by Ed. The name is funny and unique because its the max amount of characters a quest name can be in the Jagex game code... the more you know!
I gotta give props actually. This playthrough I've paid attention to most dialogue and there are a lot of funny quests. And actually a lot of well written stories
the ribbity quest is just a joke, can osrs not just have fun, funny quests anymore? everything needs to be intense and lore related? im glad they DIDNT skip. it gave me a good laugh and adds to the world and area of varlamore!
You can buy infitite wines from the bar in Varlamore. As a early mid lvl ironman, this is a very welcomed training method. also you will get a ton of Bones from the perlious Moons boss that cannot be buried, but can be chiseld down into more bone fragments.
i have deuteranopia (red/green colorblind) and the red room is harder than the others but the markers with the glowing blue actually make it semi easier and nice but still hard to click on the boss here and there, also when it comes to the stuff you can make in there (im an ironman character) i think its highly worth doing, the potions give bonus attack, str, def and heal prayer points per dose, as well as the fish heal for 25 hp each which is more than turtles even
I loved the frog quest it was so funny. I also love that there's no quest helper for them yet. It feels so good playing the game as it was meant to be played.

Another Tipp for early-mid lvl ironman. Varlamore features the first sweetcorn field, so we can finally bake potato tuna. Butter can be bought from the culiomancers chest. Potatoes and Sweetcorn can be picked from fields and tuna shouldnt be hard to come by.
Looks like I have to make a new Ironman now LOL. The Perilous moon rewards are actually pretty dope. Irits, kwarms and cadentines would be nice instead of the harralanders.

Best thing about Valamore is the aestethics. You can clearly see Jagex learnt a lot from their oopsie with Zeah. RS was created as a world, and then things were placed in it. In OSRS things were usually added and a piece of land was there just for the content to be in, making ugly areas that don't make sense. RSN dokteureke
Really excited to start learning some more PVM and mechanics with the Perilous Moons bosses. On update day I tried (and failed on the Blood Moon) to get through the quest, which I have since finished today. Love the update so far! (P.s. Returning to rs just as this hit was dope since my gim account is right about mid game so this content is so perfect once I get the stats to wear new armor I'm def grinding it out.love that rs isn't just use d scimi til hasta til fang anymore having options in the mid game is super nice

RSN : Riwul This has been very informative. Its very refreshing to have a couple mid game grinds now to break up the red prison grind in the form of perilous moon and hunting contracts.
My favorite activity is without a doubt Perilous Moons, the new bosses are perfect for me as a mid lvl player and i can't wait to master them! But overall i'm in love with Varlamore, very much a breeze of fresh air into the game as the general feeling of Varlamore has alot of life in it. RSN: Axexola
apparently there are new hunter bags that hold skins and meats i have no idea how to craft them though. maybe figure that out for the upcoming hunter guide because it would make it even better not dropping shit all the time.
Bring noted Dragon bones unnote with guy at bottom of pyramid, bless them, chip with chisel get your stack up to 50-60k shards, use the sunfire shards on wines before blessing them. With a bit of prep time beforehand u can run 500k+ xp an hour on prayer and if fast and not afk closer to 700k an hr
i loved rushing hunter tasks and selling quetzal feeds for 300-400k each. it made hunter feel good because of the gp/hr which they didn't really have in the before Valamore (besides birdhouses). rsn chxrky
I have so far most enjoyed thieving, it’s fun spamming steal while they are distracted. Though I wish it was more GP to steal from the homes. I am currently hoarding my valuables until the wiki shows how much increase in gp you get from the colosseum upgrade
I haven't visited it in game yet but I'm personally excited for the hunter and Perilous Moons since I just unlocked Vorkath as my first big money making boss and I'm excited to try harder and more rewarding content! RSN: Perishu

I havent tried the boss fight yet in the red room, but corrupted gauntlet gives me massive eye strain while the normal one does not. I guess i am not the only one suffering from too much red on screen
