i know im randomly asking but does someone know a trick to get back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot the login password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
Wait No way is this like real real where you talk to the real ATC like do you talk with people in a airport tower !?!?!, because i need help with talking to the tower and ATC, because im a student pilot going for my private pilot!!! Love the video man !! Keep it up!
Then you simply contact the first station that you encounter in the "hierarchy" of ATC, so in this case you would contact Ground. Ground will also do the Delivery stuff in this case. If only CTR is online, CTR does everything from Delivery to Radar Control! :)
ah, thank you very much! I often get confused and I don't want to make the controller have more work when it's unnecessary and not needed, thankyou once again
@@sidderaal6030 have you tried to go into the xSquawkBox settings for keybinds and then input your yoke when the program asks you? If that doesnt work then i dont know...
You need to buy and install addons for that. You can buy an AI traffic addon for traffic. If you want a realistic cockpit you can buy the iFly 737 or PMDG 737 for example.
So we use standby mode when on the ground. So what if I am cruising? Which transponder mode should I use? Also does charlie mode means TA/RA? AviationPro
Hello. First of all, congratulations for the amazing videos on your channel. I've been flying on flight simulator since 2004 and I'm thinking in starting flying on VATSIM, but there's a problem, I don't know anything about aircraft communications, since on flight simulator, you don't need to vocally do them. Can you recommend me a manual or a video which could teach me the communications in every step of the flight? That would be a big help! Thank you so much, and keep up with the excellent videos.
+Edgar Freitas Thanks! Well, in the same series there are videos on departure and on arrival communications, like here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2D_J4GUNI_c.html Also, you could watch my full flight videos to see it all in practice and learn it that way, like this one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-S6O6SoE_PDk.html Hope that helps! :)
I agree and im 13 If you know what you are doing then its easy and talking fast is learned fast actually i find the atc quite slow at speaking Perfect for aviation enthusiast and not only the "older"
i am vatsim user i install vpilot when start fsx simulater that time i set frequency and push talk button but i unable to communicate with atc , only when i set frequency of atis that only read rest frequency i unable to communicate
I use Oculus Rift and in P3D you don't see messages so is there any other way that a controller can notify me that he wants me to tune to his frequency?
Hello . Many days I’m flying online on Vatsim but many many times I have a problem but not with the all ATC ! I don’t know if it is from me or it is from the ATC . The ATC can not hear me when I’m pressing the push to talk button and than speaking !In the settings I set the USB headphones correctly
+HorizonGBRS Check via tools like servinfo or Vatspy which ATC station is online. Based on that you can contact ATC. If you are cruising, most times ATC will send you a "contact me" to notify you that you should contact them on the frequency that is included in the message.
Good Evening, first &foremost your vids are amazing n I learn alot but I have a question. Recently I've installed squakbox on my pic and I use fs9 just like you, I speak to vatsim atc but I still see default fs9 traffic and hear default fs9 atc any help on canceling the defaults out?
Normally I would point you to the Squawkbox forums, but unfortunately the Squawkbox site is permanently down. There should be a fix for this, but what you can do is simply turn off the AI traffic and also in the sound menu of FS turn off the ATC. If you don't fly offline anymore you won't be needing those anyway! :)
Ok thanks for responding,I figured it out, my other question is what weather addon do you use because I use the 'real weather download' from fs9 and SimBrief to plan my flights but a high percentage of the times the winds at my arrival airport along with the QNH are off, any tips😏😕
It's better to use a payware weather add-on like Real Environment Xtreme or Active Sky. Their weather engines depict the real world weather in a much more accurate way and they also have an option to use VATSIM weather so it's completely syncronized with the VATSIM network. :)
Wait. What if the keyboard or joystick are glitching and not listening to your commands, then in a way they hijacked your plane. So using the code would make sense... For example my native keyboard tends to press a and d at random, so if I would use it it could lead to such situation. PS Still it is understandable why that code is to be avoided.
+ZloTip First thing to do is to buy a proper joystick and keyboard. If it starts acting randomly, you could simply not assign anything for the A and D keys, and use other keys instead. If something really goes wrong, just unplug your joystick and fly the rest on autopilot. Then, the next day you will have to buy a new joystick :)
First of all, how on earth would you simulate a hijack. Second, especially after 9/11, playing around with hijackings is very unappropriate and disrespectful.
AviationPro Yeah I agree that it is inappropriate, that was my guess anyway. Well an example of a sim hijack would be younger sibling takes over control, without your consent (for example through persuading parents that it is his turn). Good thing this situation is rare and I seen it happen only once to one of my friends XD Thanks for quick response btw!
I'm not sure about that, as I rarely fly in the US on VATSIM. In Europe (on VATSIM) it differs per airport, but in most cases they want you to turn the transponder off while on the ground after landing or before departure.
+Jilk Owez It's due to a child policy act in the US. Don't consider yourself mature, you're not. Trust me, you will find out later. Just practice offline with advanced aircraft like PMDG and join VATSIM when ready. You don't want to use a fake age either, that might get you into trouble later on.
I've been playing fsx for a while now, but I only recently joined vatsim and I haven't been online yet. I've noticed from all the vatsim videos and tutorials that I've been watching is that the cockpit (on any boeing plane at least) is always the same but is different to the default fsx cockpits, why is this?
That's because those are addon airplanes. You will have to buy products like the PMDG or iFly 737 which have an advanced and realistic cockpit including all the knobs, switches and systems that the real aircraft uses. It has been mentioned at the beginning of this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UpVpRFPQK2Y.html
But what if you are doing a long-haul flight from, let's say from Europe to Asia and you have gone to bed. But then a Air Traffic Controller joins at you are entering his FIR and he sends a Contact me, but your still in bed. What do you then do?
You shouldn't go sleeping in the first place! You will likely be kicked from the network, and maybe even worse: kicked for a couple of days if this happens repeatedly.
I have an extra question, what if you use FSpassengers? They give you random emergencies depending on how you land the aircraft and do maintnence. It gives them very rarely though but will I still be aloud to use it on Vatsim?
As long as you ask the controller when you have the emergency, but he/she can always deny it. In that case you have to somehow cancel the emergency if that's possible.
Keyboard and mouse is fine! I used the mouse yoke for a long time. Only recently got a joystick. Basically it doesn't have any difference what you use. Only personal opinion.
Watch the other tutorials of these series, there's a lot more info there. Also read more info on vatsim.net. I would definitely NOT recommend using a keyboard. You have way better control over your aircraft with a joystick.
That's a very bad idea. How are you supposed to follow proper flight paths and ILS approaches etc. in turbulent conditions by using a keyboard? Imagine flying a real plane with a keyboard...
Je moet naar de PMDG map gaan in je C schijf en dan moet je kijken naar PMDG Operation Center, daar moet je jou eigen PMDG kiezen en dan kan je deliviery's kiezen! vraag maar voor meer vragen ;)
+The Flying Scotsman Usually controllers have what's called "Controller info" (which you can obtain via your pilot client) with some basic airport information and maybe also a letter for the ATIS. If not, just ask for the clearance without mentioning any letter. It's not a big deal in that case ;)
My PC specs are in my channel description. Apart from that I just use FS2004 with aircraft and scenery addons. Real Environment Xtreme is probably the best addon, because it changes the way the environment looks in FS2004.
