Hi AJ, I like the look of that, I can honestly say I'd never heard of that make, but looks good, loads of space.

I'd heard of the make, they do rucksacks etc but it was at the higher end of my budget. That said, I did some research looking at weight, etc not just because it's light, but when I use it, I have confidence I'll be dry & safe

I have the same tent . At the front where you have the loop over the pole , if you pull that forward there is a little sleeve which the pole should sit in ( diagonal piece of tent material on it ) It gives you a taut fly sheet , apologies if you already knew this .

@Over_the_Hill if you search youtube for " Instruction Manual VAUDE Hogan SUL 1-2P VAUDE " and it shows you at 1.17 . If you still want a video can do one tomorrow.
