Thank you for your help with your tutorial, hopefully receiving our Vax blade flex hose shortly, been meaning to replace ours for a while now. Thanks again have a great day.
I have a 24v one which was loud so I stuck some of a sponge filter with to fabric filters from a Bosch athlete and it’s very quiet now and it didn’t kill the suction of it
I am giving mine, which was recently given me, a clean. Not got around to this part as I am on the brush-bar unit. Shame you didn't do that part too as I have found a spring on the floor and not sure where it came from. Useful video though and soon to be used.
Please could you help me out here, on the side where the belt is, is there something that squeezes the belt in the middle or something because my belt is skidding on the cog because it is too big but I replaced it and it’s the same, is there something missing?
I wouldn't worry about the little filter that keeps dust out of the motor...cus it DOESN'T. No matter what you do, you're always gonna get dust in the motor, which causes constant thermal cutoffs. It's poorly designed garbage. I replaced the crafty security star drive screws, so I can take mine apart every week and clean it out. I'd urge anyone to NEVER waste money on a new motor or battery or anything. Don't even waste your money on new filters. Just throw it away and buy something more effective...like a dustpan and brush
The motor will have gone they’re sealed units and can’t be repaired, the only thing to do is find a second hand motor to replace it like I did. I’ve got the video of putting it back together but never bothered to edit it
