My Vax Zoom (CM87-ZM-R) recently lost suction but despite changing the filters and then stripping it down to component level it just wouldn't suck. In desperation I decided to read the instruction manual and discovered the on/off switch also acts as a rotating power adjuster and I must have knocked it to minimum when I turned it off. It's now working better than when I first bought it! Note to self - read the manual!
AWSOME VIDEO VERY VERY PRACTICAL AND ENCOURAGING FOR US TO FIND PROBLEM AND RESOLVE IT. LOVED IT . WILL WATCH FOR DOMESTIC APPLIANCE PROBLEM AND LEARN FROM YOU.😃
for what it is worth at the 2;07 mark, that plastic ring between the wheel and the filter does come out, it has 4 clips going down in the direction of the motor, a little poking around with a screw driver will reveal them and that ring comes out letting you take of the wheel. but it does not seem to let you take of the filter cover.
We need to be able to see inside your machine to be able to use this as a guide for us! I can hear you talking, picking up tools but you’r3 not filming the bits we need to be seeing!
Could be anywhere? Take the hose off and see if it sucks, then maybe it is the hose, then take the stick off and see if it sucks, maybe it is the hose, and maybe the stick? Try and see. Asking for a friend?
