I'm hoping you can help me!! I lent my vaccum to my neighbour and now the hose into the main head is completely blocked....I suspect something sticky was picked up at its now blocked the head. Is there any way to remove the hose from the head (the bit you cleaned with a toothbrush) so I can unblock it?? This video is so helpful!
Vax blade 4 powerhead has a design problem in that the drive bearing (plastic) wears/melts with use causing the head to then screech like a banshee. Each head lasts about 6 months (less if you use it on carpet). I'm on my 4th head under warranty.
I thought I was the only one who bangs my filters and brush bar into the washing machine! What can I say, it just works 💪 I saw your comment about Sharks with the anti hair wrap. If you only take one bit of advice, please don't touch a Shark with a barge pole. They went bust a few years ago when their warranty claims were so high that it basically crippled them, before they were sold off back to the same firm who used to own them. They make Dyson look reliable and that's saying something, there's crazy long waits for parts direct from Shark and warranty repairs can take months. How do I know? I subcontracted to them as an approved repairer when I was at uni doing my masters. They also throw a lot of money to influencers to 'review' their products, with lots of glowing reviews ignoring that they barely last and are flimsy as all hell. Vax are a bit flimsy and build quality isn't perfect, but at least they are cheap and repairs don't take an age, so there's that 😉
Thanks Sloeginandsleep, yes the Vax is good for the money, but I prefer Corded / Bagged vacuum cleaners to clean my house and other stuff, above Cordless / Bagless units. the Shark units just never appealed to me. Regards 😀.
Worst part about this is the Floor head not doing the best job coz of all that hair wrapped round it. It’s take some effort pulling the brush bar out and cutting/pulling all that hair off. The white and black foamed filters are also a nuisance to clean and can’t use again until fully dry.
Thanks RizZi, you’re not wrong. This is just a device I repaired for someone, I use a bagged and corded Henry (Numatic) to clean as the Cordless/Bagless vacuum cleaners are too much maintenance and harbours a hell of a lot of dust 😎.
@@green-crocs-fixes1520 what is the Henry cordless like? Does it lose suction force when the bag begins to full? I’ve ordered Vax blade 5 dual but I’m still confused between Henry and Vax. Might return the Vax but it is slightly cheaper and comes with extra battery and pet and car accessories whereas Henry comes with couple of tools and that’s it.
I remember feeling annoyed about cleaning the dust container and filters on blade 32v every couple of days and the container would get full in no time. Keeping this mind, I should really get the Henry but it comes with no accessories. There is so much thinking ! I hate my life lol
@@rzzi5689 Yes bits of paper and sweet wrappers get stuck inside once you open the Bin, then you have to use a Pen to fish them out. Henry bags, filters and tools are super cheap on eBay 😏
@@rzzi5689 No RizZi, I only swear by Henry hoovers, corded type, not cordlesss. See this link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AK6R4K4Z5jg.html
@green-crocs-fixes1520 your explanation in video , my god man u could have done it in half the time , I've never seen someone empty a vacuum and show the dust in the bin so slowly lmao
@@clarerainbird165 Thanks for the feedback Clare and duly noted, however because this is a video you do have the option to fast forward rather than waiting if time is an issue.
