Whoever leaked the affidavit knew exactly what he/she doing knowing well that NPA will drag this case. Holding the person who leaked this affidavit will not make a difference the truth is out, so tell us how you are getting those implicated to face the law.

It seems the NPA drags its heels so that the guilty are able to keep delaying and delaying. Hlope delayed his case over and over again for years before he was actually impeached. Look at Makwebena tactics via Mpopho and all the sad stories we had to hear. This is a common catastrophe within the NPA and they need to tighten up the rules of court, and bring back the respect the law deserves. Unfortunately this is about much higher up bodies than Malema and his cohorts, it involves many people. They should be held on bracelets so that they can be tracked. Their bank accounts frozen and a new monitored account opened for their income and stock take of assets. A lot of money is going to disappear while the wait goes on.
He explains very clearly why he's concerned: leaking the affadavit could compromise future investigations. It warns people that they are under investigation, giving them opportunity to destroy evidence etc.
NPA takes decades to get any investigation done so it's right if the affidavit was leaked ..Don't worry about who ĺeaked the affidavit and get on in prosecution of the thieves who took to money..Get on with what you have to do..

The sad part of South african law is that cases take so long that sometimes the people who suffered the loss pass away before they can see justice being served. example Senzo's case, his father passed on heartbroken 💔 😢

Question already asked but whilst leaking of documents not correct it should not overshadow the information contained in such documents and in this instance, it is extremely important that the claims are fully investigated and if found there is a case against Malema and Shivambu and EFF that they are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. But clear that because Malema is apparently involved the NPA for unknown reasons stalling on it.
Maybe the NPA is smarter than a lot of fools here, who think that an affidavit from a thief trying to get a lighter sentence is enough to be presented before a sober judge. He claims that he went to meet EFF leaders alone, no texts, no appointments and no bank records what a shame.
Agreed but not admissible against other parties that are not yet charged or have not yet have their cases commence. The audi alteram partem rule applies to everyone including EFF. No amount of hate or biases against them/ it can do away with that fundamental principle of our law.

I thought that when an accused has pleaded guilty, the entirety of their guilty plea, (not a certain part of it) is read in record publicly so that the public knows what is it that they are pleading guilty to! Technically, what happened here is no leaking but a lawful act of making a guilty plea of a criminal public.
All this information should be public knowledge. We've known for a long time the named persons are guilty so come on we the public should know this info. We're not ignorant kids.
