So glad you’re back! I love the Stardust so much but after buying my Janet undyed, I had to settle for a Moterm Croc instead. I hope you feel 100% better tomorrow!

Ahhh well undyed is AMAZING, I honestly think that's my favorite leather if we're talking strictly leather! I do feel the Stardust or Velvet Sand is more my "style" color wise but when it comes to leather, Undyed is for SURE my favorite. Thank you so much!!

You can take planners around with you by using a velvet pouch. Thats what I do with mine, i throw it in the pouch then it goes in my purse. Im in nyc so i cannot go anywhere without my planner ❤

I can definitely do that! I've been trying different weeklies less and less these days (instead sticking with my 3 favs) and gone from needing WO2P to loving WO1P hehe... so a lot has changed!

TM is buffalo so it’s crazy strong and won’t patina or show scratches. It shouldn’t wipe off pen or something but it’s easier to clean and won’t get banged up in your bag. When they add more TM leathers sometimes it’s adding new colors to the lineup and sometimes adding existing TM to the RTS.

You rock! I own or have owned all of these with the exception of the velvet sand but have a custom order for that right now! I do own the undyed and agree it’s so darned squishy and I love it! I have not sprayed it though and am second guessing doing so! Thanks for sharing!

Ahhhh I would love to hear your thoughts on Velvet Sand once you get it! Yes omg the squish on the undyed is EVERYTHING. That might be my favorite leather to be honest lol. I know spraying and babying and stuff is all totally personal preference! Some people want marks & stains and character and others don't. So total personal choice!

The site section is "Touch Me Ready Made Collection". The leather selections for the standard wide are TM Noir, TM Parme, Beige Croco, and Stardust Croco. So I think you're right that Touch Me is a type of leather, but the RTS line is also called Touch Me because it used to only be Touch Me leather, and now it includes other types of leather so the Touch Me is now designated as just "TM". Phew!

6:25 I have no moterms that lay flat. But my Codex A5 Janet lays flat but my Passport with a back pocket does not. The back pocket causes a lot of the not laying flat imho.

15:35 do you have a stiffner or full bontex? I don’t just have a frame and mine aren’t stiff. It’s a firmer thicker leather but not stiff. And softened with use too.

There are tons of Buy Sell Trade groups on Facebook! Check out the VDS (Van Der Spek) BST, Gillio BST, and Moterm BST… there’s a lot! You can also look at hashtags on IG like planner for sale, vdsforsale, etc. - lots of people post for sale items on their IG too!

Love your pocket vds collection. They all are so cute. I personally don't like marks on Janet undyed either, it don't look the same no more.

Thanks December!! 🥰 agreed! I think I like scratches & marks on darker leathers? Because of course I love them on my leather travelers notebook.. but something about the undyed I just prefer it to look smooth and perfect lol!

I saw your customs and even after ordering last week a b6 I just placed an order for a manager a5 in chocolate with lighter chocolate stitching.i didn't get the back pocket but this one I did get the flyleaf.im excited yo get both and really hate waiting.i did by an a6 and that wasn't a. Ustom.i don't feel these are any softer than the moterm of which I have a few.still waiting on my burnt orange personal versa.lol...I did pay the e Tra for the Janet leather so hopefully that will be better.thanks

Was the not custom one a touch me leather? If so I totally understand! Those definitely aren’t what I’d call a soft leather. Still a higher leather quality than moterm… but if you got Janet it’ll blow you away! It is so squishy and amazing

@@amandaleighplans yes it was a touch me but it was my first and an a6.the second and third are all customs and one is a b6 and one a A5...the a5 is the only Janet leather.so I'm hoping it eill be good.i have started my planning back in the early 90s when j used yo be a marykay lady(don't recommend them)then In the 2000,I ended up being an Avon lady.after I left the hotel industry I got into happy planning and hated the covers (not the plastic ones that come with the planner).I was going yo stop but moterm does hp covers.still not 100%with jp but it's a start...lol...I love rings even though I'm a lefty...🤣🤣🤣

Thank you for your informative video! I watched this like 3 times 😂. I’m thinking of getting an A5 codex for my desk planner for my Stalogy. Now my confusion comes in because I want a black, and I don’t own Janet Leather or Croco. I have the TM so I can’t decide between the JL black or the Nero Croco. Do you have any thoughts on which one would feel/look better as a classic black staple? Thank you!

So I’m not super familiar with the Nero Croc leather but black croc is absolutely a classic! HOWEVER I would go Janet leather 10000%. Janet leather is the best leather I have everrrrr felt. It’s so squishy and incredible, I would absolutely go JL!

It can be super confusing and overwhelming when you’re getting started!! There are sooo many options out there and with ring planners you basically have a million different options to fill them with, instead of a book bound planner for example that’s already complete. I would highly recommend Cloth & Paper for starting out. They are an online shop that carry everything - inserts, dashboards, dividers, etc. You can pick between monthly, weekly, notes, any kind of refills you need for your life! There are many refill makers out there but C&P is a one stop shop and great for beginners.
