Hi, great video! I have recently started watching your videos as I have been thinking to try fishing. I have tried fishing only a couple times, but know very little about the whole fishing world. I don’t have any equipment but want to get an entry level set. I was wondering if I could tag along with you if you ever go fishing in Lower Mainland area. I moved to Vancouver 2 years ago and do not know anyone to go out fishing with. Just want to see how you fish and I learn. Thanks
It's good stuff, but I recommend putting another set of stoppers under the sink. It avoids losing the sink when the swivel doesn't hold the snag, + it will not pollute the river with lead.
Good Job with the video man, I’ve taken notes from this video so let’s giver a go Also can you make a video on how to find or figure out the strike zone for fishing
Hi, thanks for the comment! I normally use 20-23g weight, it will say it on the label. And the distance really depends on the water depth. Find the bottom and pull it 1ft up
Nice video. Not a bait slinger myself but like bottom bouncing with home-made slinky weights and a spin-n-glo on a #4 hook with a couple colours of wool in the bait loop. Can change weights in seconds for different runs. Pro tip: shot of WD-40 on the wool. Works great and I've fished the Chilliwack/Vedder for over 60 years tho only a few times in the last 20 years as I live in northern Alberta now. Fly rod first then switch to the bait caster if they're not hitting the fly.
@@Go2fishingbc Thanks! I like how the 2 power felt much more sensitive than the 3 power in the tackle shop. Just wanted to make sure a 2 power wouldn't blow up if I got an oversized chum
Hi! You normally want to go less with leader than your main. I always use 12lb leader. It will work but you may lose the whole setup if it gets snagged
Hey bro, The rod that you introduced was Titan trophy XL 10’6” power 2. Just curious that the handle part looks a bit different in 1:38 ? You have two different rods? One has blue handle but one in 1:38 shows black handle? What’s the difference?
