I feel this. I mean, my immediate family isn't the total opposite of me, but all my cousins and aunts and uncles are huge sports fans and I'm the musical one that has purple hair. My cousins would actually make fun of me when I started shooting concerts like, "you going to so many SHOWS?!" and make up ridiculous band names because they didn't take me seriously. Also, keep on it this month dude. Filming every day is hard (I did it in October, I know), but it forced me to get creative and just make stuff even if I wasn't 200% happy with it. Don't think too much. I always have to forget that Casey Neistat exists when I want to make stuff every day because that man makes us ALL look bad. :)
Being different is a good thing. And having other people understand is even better. I know what it's like. I can say that I went through that as well... and this is the type of video that a lot of people can connect to. It's almost as if being face to face, but with a screen in between.. really like this video
Not one for sports either, so I get it. This is a VLOG so it's great that you are sharing. That helps those of us who don't know you that well to..well, .know you!
That's rough, man. I didn't really feel like I got to know my dad until I was an adult either. There's something special about being friends with your parents once you are grown though. Also I'm glad you got a video out today : ). I think one of the big advantages of doing vlog everyday challenges is it helps break you out of a perfectionist streak. Done is better than perfect.
