Hello Minni , I made this today for my Indian father in law and he was quite impressed. He loved it !!! Thank you so much for making such a detailed video. I'm Italian and Indian food is not so easy to make for me :) thanks again! I love your channel!!!!
Yay! I made naan! Thank you again for another clearly explained video. The other day I made your vegan meatballs, and today I used some of the small patty shaped ones like a gyro in this Naan recipe, with lettuce, onion, cucumber, and tzaziki sauce. The only thing is, some of them were a little dense, but some were ok. Is it possible that the better ones were when the pan was hotter? I'll try them again next week with a hotter pan. I think I just need to be braver, lol, and turn up the heat! 😆
Yes Kimberly, the pan needs to be really really hot, else the Naan won't get cooked properly and won't get the right texture, it might turn little rubbery. I m so glad you are giving everything a try ❤️❤️ let me know if you have any other questions.
I’ve made naan before but your recipe seemed more intuitive, easier to me. Thank you! I’ve followed you and turned on all notifications but for some reason I’m not receiving them. I know there’s nothing you can do about this but I thought you might like to know in case this issue is affecting your views.
Glad you liked the recipe and so happy that you find it easy to follow... That's always been my priority to make the recipes as easy as possible. Thank you for letting me know about the notifications, I will raise a case and see what happens. You definitely made my day. Thank you again for your kindness ☺️
You can use the activated yeast or just add salt towards the end once the yeast is already activated. You can also add the yeast to warm water and keep it in a warm place for the yeast to be activated easily. I hope this helps
I'd like to know if you can freeze the dough balls to make another time? I am one person and with social distancing being respected I can't make that much naan (I would eat it!!!). Also, what was the bean dip you showed with the naan at the end of the video? Thank you! I will try it!
I have kept the dough in refrigerator but never tried freezing it to be honest. But yes it will last in the refrigerator for couple of days. For the black bean curry : check out this link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VlkzvJtUzxQ.html
@@Foodotomic That's great to know. How do I store the dough-wrapped in plastic? And do I let the dough rest at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking? I appreciate the help! I'm going to make this for my son when he visits next weekend...so I probably won't have leftovers this time!
@@ceeloud It should be around 15-17 mins depending on the type of stand mixer you are using, once it reaches the strechy soft dough you should be good :)
