Just a segue. You use a lot of almond milk and flour. Almonds require lots of water to grow, so ecologically they're not a good choice. Can you suggest other milks and flours?

Is it supposed to be 1/4 cup of flour?

Can we substitute vegetable shortening for vegan butter?
