Yep it's limited and regulated by local counties. It varies from $3,000 to $10,000 but the county regulates it. Anything more than that upper amount usually requires lawyers and arbitration and insurance for things like car accidents or natural disasters

One single psychology study is almost never worth reviewing

​@@msbroomstick1sometimes psychological studies formalise things that people have observed. I think we have all observed the ED to dietician pipeline. Just like we see the psychology students who are attempting to heal themselves.

@@justine8387 no I haven't observed it. I have observed most dieticians to be females, and therefore at a higher risk to suffer from eating disorders. There's a reason why you shouldn't pay attention to a single psychology study. While there are a lot of high quality psychology studies, often the ones who reach the media do so because they are designed to do so. Often misrepresenting data or even out right fabricate it (biggest offender is behavioural psychology and survey based studies). I say this as a professional in a related field (well sort off, biomathematics is not the same as a statistician or psychologist, but you'll get similar answers from both). Unless you're an expert in the field, you probably shouldn't take into consideration something that isn't a meta analysis or something in the largest of scales. The level of knowledge that requires to give a new small study a fair assessment for vetter or for worse is absolutely insane. You need to know the general approach of the university, which company they used to collect their data, other publications from the department etc. Even nutrition science studies are easier to asses and they are also notoriously problematic.
