I exchanged noodles for spaghetti, gherkins for capers. Added 2 small tomatoes, seaweed, and some nice black olives. Left out the mayo.

The one item I use to obtain that sea like flavor is to sprinkle kelp on the dish. It gives you the smell, taste and nutrients of a seafood meal.

Tuna casserole was a favorite of mine so I will be trying this. Canned Jackfruit can be found here in the US at Trader Joe's. I ate a Jackfruit BBQ sandwich with Coleslaw on it at a local place for Mother's Day. Jackfruit really is great to give that meaty texture. Thanks for the recipe.

I like how the timer runs out as you take a bite, literally five minutes from start to taste :) I was never into fish, but I know people who are pretty much pescatarian because they're yet to find a good alternative to fish. Great job as always and congrats on doing your first solo :)

All these recipes are great, but could ye guys try putting up a few one-person recipes? I know a lot of vegans are cooking for themselves in the family, or flat for example, or living by themselves as students etc. Love the hard work lads, keep it up!

I used arracacha with chicken to cook homemade food for my cat, I blended it to her eat them together, because just vegetable she does not eat and I tried that when it was cold and it reminder me tuna with mayo, so I will try Arracacha and Chickpea. I understood know why she loved that, cats are crazy about fish.

Ive been a meat eater 28 years, always thought the vegan life was boring food wise. Just shows how under educated the people of today are. I watched a documentry after documentry, then last night i watched a documentry on netflix called what the health, it really got me thinking. After watching a few of ur videos i now know the food is not boring. Thanks to you 2 im ready to change, also its not just my life you will be changing its my 2 children, 3 and 6 years old and for that i cant thank you 2 enougth

Green kitchen stories use a shredded sheet of nori sea weed to create a fishy taste and it rocks :D could imagine adding it in here too but will try this as is before :)

Dupes NO!!! They are different than the standard pickled cucumbers!!! When you’re buying pickled gherkins, they should be bright green and the vinegar should be clear. If you’re buying fresh gherkins, look for small, firm, unblemished ones. Mt olive in the states has them, I find them at Walmart...they say gherkin on the label :)

I live in Asia (Taiwan) and the only jackfruit I have seen in the major grocery stores is in syrup, and I have seen exactly 1 fresh in 7 years. Tamari, a popular soy sauce variety on this show is also never seen here, unless it goes by another name. There is a huge Japanese influence here (part of Japan at one time) so it is really odd that tamari (purportedly Japanese) cannot be found here. Again, unless it is called something else.

Would tuna flavored pasta be ok with you? So picky...who cares what it's called?? I don't get all picky that cow flesh is called beef... otherwise I'd call it the flesh of a tortured, mutilated, abuse cow.
