I’m so glad that you said what you did in the car! It was refreshing and much needed. We do live in a time where there is so much pressure and not only are we told that we need to do it alone, but success now often only looks one way. I know I certainly am learning to lean more on God’s word and plan for my life. Also I recognize that sometimes I can’t do everything alone and may need help from the people who love and support me who God has placed in my life.

Having vegan crab cakes this week. I have been a vegetarian for over 30 years but I love to eat vegan. It makes me feel better spiritually and sometimes easier on my stomach. Only thing is I can’t digest seeds and nuts so it limits me sometimes. Thx for all your recipes.

Girl, I needed to hear this. (WE ALL DID) The bible says to lean not unto thine own understanding. There have been many times I've wondered why certain things didn't or hasn't happen for me. Honestly, I was to busy watching what everyone has going on instead of trusting God, like I said I would. Even in those days of doubt, I know that I can go to him. God's plans are so much greater than what I can ever imagine. You weren't ranting, you were just speaking the truth. I'm glad God placed it on your heart to share this with us.

My problem is I can be all over the place with my thoughts on where I should oppose to where I’m at now; career, job, house, etc… so many things I want and I feel that I should be hurrying up because I don’t have so much time or I’m looking at where others are and I feel I should be where there at , so this is confirmation to just seek GOD for where he wants me at at this current moment- stop trying to figure it out and allow GOD to guide and speak and for me to just stand still and listen. Shakayla!! Yes, girl. 1 John 2:17 & 1 John 5:19 trying not to be molded by this world and its promotion of "self" ideals. Of course, our heavenly Father wants to have a balance with love of self, but this world and its desires and ways take it beyond and above the level of keeping ourselves in a place of knowing who should be and is in control. I struggle honestly with understanding a healthy love of self because of the craziness of the world and personal life circumstances. From my study of the Bible this promotion of "self" is exactly what got us into this mess in the first place with Jehovah God's first humans Adam and Eve, and that Ole Satan deceiving Eve, let us not be deceived girl!! And about those seeds in that Papaya, made me upset too, Genesis 1:11 "Hello !" He created the vegetation to have seeds and humans with their scientific selfish thoughts, "Let's make it seedless!" The hot mess humans create because of selfish thinking. But I am sure the papaya just was low on seeds. I need to try one, but I believe I am allergic, not to the fruit but to whatever they do to it with pesticides and foolery before we get it. Loving the Veganuary vlogs.
