That's the very reason we don't go to Vegas anymore. Everything is out of hand, people, hotels, behavior, it's just not nice anymore. Too many crooks. I really miss the good old days, all the way up to about 2012 or 2013. From there on, downhill. And we just to go from the east coast every 4 to 6 weeks and had fun. NO MORE for us.
Yeah 2006 was my fav year. Perfect mix of vintage and modern Vegas. I liked it when it was mostly centered around gaming and small scale shows. Nows its big time entertainment. Not my thing but im glad i got to experience it when it was at its best.
If there is going to be an incident, it's going to have to be perpetrated by someone who is extremely determined. The players are sequestered at Lake Las Vegas, and are shuttled to and from there by police-escorted busses; they are unlikely to be permitted to even see the Strip, Downtown, or anywhere else where there might be a problem. Allegiant Stadium is like a fort--a dozen security people at every closed, locked gate, and black curtains all the way around so you can't even see in. At Super Bowl events where the public is invited to be bilked, there are security people standing every 15 feet on both sides of aisles and corridors. The NFL has basically established a police state, protecting its production of huge sums of money against the fans it attracts and the undesirable people it comprises. None of it has anything to do with football. It's not the NFL, it's the FRL, the Fascist Revenue League. P.S. If you purchase tickets immediately, you can get them for the low, low price of $2,800 each. It's not about football.
Yep, there are many reasons pro sports were always kept out of Vegas. Sports betting wasn't the only reason. I know you didn't mention any Baseball players....I had a co-worker who played in Triple-A for years, and even played some major league games. He told stories of how much fucking drugs and partying all these guys did. And that wasn't even in Vegas.

We took a lot of crap for being a "cold weather" Superbowl, ends up Vegas will have the same temperatures ours did, in the 50s. I'm sure the media will fawn all over it though. Enjoyed the video.

I just want to add about safety, look around and be aware of people watching you. My friends and I were in the Flamingo and this guy was watching our group. My husband noticed and he kept circling around all the while seeing what we were going to do and he kept walking outside to the Habitat where he had friends, then he'd come back inside and stand off from us, pretending to look at his phone. Fortunately, we were going to our room. It was getting close to midnight, but they watch you to see if they can follow and get you at a point where they can rob you, especially if you have to use those elevators under the bridges. Those areas are dark and most of the time, we were the only people there. For people who are a bit drunk and not paying attention, they will get you. I go to Vegas all the time and it just seemed worse than ever, and it was an off weekend, so I can only imagine what it will be like during the Super Bowl week.
Same issues happened when stuper bowl was played here DUIs assaults, Fights, bad player behavior . And it also extended to visitors even more. And San Diego sheriff isn't as forgiving as LVMPD

Slim to nothing will happen with players. These guys are on total lockdown. But Vegas is Vegas and has a high crime rate with admittedly low numbers for police force.
This happens everywhere!!! They just make it more published because it’s Vegas. Other then the NBA all star game all examples are around a regular games. All these athletes are human and it’s there choice to break the law or not. It has nothing to do with a superstar in Vegas. It’s all a superstar with money and it would happen if they were in New York City, Chicago or Lad Vegas

If someone wants to bet on a game they are playing in they can buy a burner phone and bet anonymously, you do not have to be in Vegas, any athlete would be dumb to bet in a casino and would be looking to get in trouble.
To think either of those guys couldn't afford to pay their own way to the superbowl is laughable. Since it's a gambling town, odds are that if all those rich athletes with invincible attitudes were staying at strip Hotels, there would be a headline or two that would not be a positive for the NFL. I mean... it's called Sin City for a reason.

He has been a major fixture in the NFL for years and years… I would’ve thought you would’ve known how to pronounce his name without any research.
