LOL OK so I have been living here for 6 years and have never had a water bill over a $100 and we have a large home with a pool. We spend a lot of time outside hiking lot of places we don't live on the sun. Sorry but your video is all dome and gloom please move back to where ever you came form you just hate it here. The crime and traffic problem and DUI and everything else that happens, happens in all big cities not just Vegas
I'm sitting here in Treasure Island on July 17th at 1:30am. I walked around the mirage tonight and got to see the last volcano show. Was really sad to see :(
bummed I missed the live stream again 😢 It must be so hot walking the streets so thank you for doing it so we can live vicariously thru you and enjoy Vegas ❤
Former Las Vegan here. I can still remember the well worn Green chips at Mirage. The brass Mermaid sculpture at the main entrance (bust) touch for Good Luck. The smell of indoor (real/fake) foliage and flowing water. The misty dark wooded themed jungle (decor) and restaurants. And who could forget the Mirage Volcano flames along the strip (you could feel the heat). I even treated my folks to Beatles Love (comp). The Vegas Vacation era is gone. I'm sad.
Both Resorts and Fontaine built with the future of the strip expanding north. Circus Circus/ slots of fun's days are numbered. However, i think they miscalculated with how slow the Northern strip was going to expand. But Resorts world is an amazing place however, yes Resorts World needs to calculate their strategy to be long term if they expect to survive. Gambling is Vegas and they need to capitalize a strategy to MAKE people want to stay there and keep them coming back.
You know considering what happened yesterday to poor Mr Trump he was only a head tilt away from being killed thank the grace of God he wasn't For you as a born again Christian to do Donald Trump impressions at a time like this not only is two-faced and hypocritical but obviously you are not the born again Christian you claim to be at least you could the least you could have done was to have been respectful of that situation consider me unsubscribed you really are a jerk after all
I never met him, but worked as an outside maintenance worker on his clothing conveyors in the Wynn, Encore and Bellagio. Any stories I heard about him were pretty positive. With the money and power probably comes some kind of perversion, the temptations could be hard to resist I'd bet. But Steve Wynn changed Las Vegas, there is no denying it, he had a vision that is still attracting visitors today and for years to come.
I can tell you from experience last year while in Vegas that the heat there is no joke. I walked back to Park MGM from Allegiant Stadium where I did a stadium tour, and got a cold water bottle to take with me, and Steven, when I tell you that heat was insane, believe it.
Thanks for that, it was very enlightening. I’ve been vacationing in Las Vegas for the past thirty years. I agree with you that things have changed, and have become crazier, and not in a good way. I used to dream about living in Las Vegas full time. Not anymore. I just visit, and that’s good enough for me. If the prices get any higher and I can’t find good deals anymore, I might visit other places instead, sad to say.
I worked the WSOP back in the summers of 2006/2007 I avoided the strip as much as possible. I worked from 8pm till 4am at the RIO when I drove in traffic was not bad at all and when I left the RIO I would take the strip at 4:15 am and there was hardly any traffic at all. I loved driving down the strip at 4:30ish in the am with my moon roof open and barely any traffic. In 2006 and 2007 Vegas didn't have fireworks shows they said it was too dry and would have Vegas had their fireworks at New Years back then.
