Episode was very good. I don't disagree with the ending. I do think it was sort of disingenuous to include a character with a power up from an arc that isn't even finished yet.
It was sheer volume of content that beat Vegeta. Decades upon decades of comic books written where all sorts of outlandish things happen. If this was just limited to the TV or base cartoon Thor Vegeta was taking it all day. Comic book Thor or any marvel or DC comic book characters are just broken and takes something equally broken to beat them. Still be Vegeta should take heart that he is one of the most powerful anime-based characters to exist

They took feats from different versions of thor and Marvel scaling is stupidly inconsistent bit they only really took feats from dbz and dbs vageta and non of his variants. Also db has more consistent scaling the fights just don't show the immense power of vegeta or goku

They didn’t explain old king Thor. Old King Thor is one of the most powerful variants of the character. When Old King Thor merged with the Phoenix Force, becoming Old Phoenix King Thor, his powers greatly multiplied. This solidified him as one of the most dangerous beings in Marvel. Vegeta even if you battle old king Thor, the powerful version would that make any difference?

And I saw this coming… I wish he won, however the evidence stated in the video was too much for me to refute. Thor wins hands down. Why? Because everything Vegeta can do Thor can do better and then some. Vegetas only hope in the end, was to Hakai him, but unfortunately Thors immune to reality erasure, which is Hakai’s whole stick. Say what you want Marvel fans, but you’ve gotta admit Vegetas voiceover was the true winner here. Also, Also, Also… Cap cannot beat Thor Vegeta, and Iron Man needs preparation to do that. After some Death Battle reactions by Dragon Ball channels that use avatars, I feel like I need to clarify something for the comment section. This reaction...is not meant to be about whether or not the real person behind the avatar (in this case Prince Vegeta) agrees with the Death Battle, it is about how the character who is portrayed (in this case Prince Vegeta) would react to the battle animation and to the battle animation only for the shake of entertainment value. So no, unless the person behind the avatar comes out and says that that one of the two things that I will bring up is not true for him, then we can't say that the person behind the avatar (in this case, the avatar is Prince Vegeta) has a) not seen the analysis portion of the episode or b) disagrees with the outcome of the episode. I think most people are upset is because the side characters of Dbz or Dbs have won but the two main have lost. I mean look at Goku he lost to superman twice and wasn't brought back for another fight since.
@@danteredgrave120 death battle doesn't like to use main characters that haven't finished their series yet. Goku was in death battle before dbs was even announced. Luffy is a great example. He isn't in death battle yet zoro and sanji is in despite one piece haven't end yet
Seems like if a character is in a death battle twice, they're going to win one then lose one. Vegeta killed Shadow the Hedgehog, so he loses to Thor. It's just how they work.

Vegeta isn't wrong. But, in the earlier seasons of Death Battle Vegeta had gotten a Win against Shadow the Hedgehog. And he's no push over. Death Battle has shown that in recent years as well.
I think it’s anime in general. Shadow is semi anime. Jinrya lost to Roshi and both of them are anime. Beerus had a win but his opponent was an anime character. Hercule beat Dan who’s a street fighter character and basically almost anime. Only two that beat a marvel character was 18 and that was a super not good matchup and super broly, who just has so much more than the hulk while essentially being dragonball hulk.

You know there’s episode of DEATH BATTLE that have Dragon Ball Characters win fights. Vegeta VS Shadow, Hercule Satan VS Dan Hibiki, Android 18 VS Captain Marvel, Roshi VS Jiraya, Beerus VS Galaxia, and Hulk VS Broly. And out of those fights alone. The ones Dragon Ball DEATH BATTLE that characters have lost are Goku VS Superman (1 & 2), Kirby VS Majin Buu, Goku Black VS Reverse Flash, and this one Dragon Ball Wins: 6 Dragon Ball Loses: 5 So, yeah. I’m just pointing out that Dragon Ball characters do have some wins in DEATH BATTLE.

Okay, for those who don't watch the analysis. What went down: - physical strength was hardly a factor - Thor speed blitzes - Thor had millennia of experience over Vegeta - Hakai couldn't finish him because he's resisted existence erasure before - Thor has battled beings stronger than practically anyone in Dragon Ball, specifically Galactus. No offense Vegeta, but you didn't really have a lot of options. Also, yeah. Wonder Woman beat Thor but that was like, what, season 4? Thor didn't have those feats back then.
So how many universes does Galactus scale up to? Because Super Saiyan God was capable of accidentally destroying the universe simply with the shockwaves of their blows rippling across the multiverse , and that was two transformations ago so they're probably hundreds if not thousands of times stronger now because Dragon Ball Power Scaling between forms has been ridiculous for decades.

Death battle didn’t get the dragon ball fights wrong, they got them right. Superman, Reverse Flash, and thor are all stronger than db characters, it’s just a fact. Hakai wouldn’t work, thor has survived multiple existence erasure attacks, the hammer can absorb energy, and he scales to a guy who was in the middle of a collision of two universes.
You realize they were capable of accidentally wiping out the entire universe mid fight in Dragon Ball roughly 2 transformations ago(Super Saiyan God), which they've likely surpass hundreds of times over by now. I'm not saying its going to change the outcomes but scaling to even two universes doesn't mean shit in modern Dragon Ball.

You could fit all 12 of db's multiverse into one marvel universe and there would still be room left. Vegeta wouldn't know to go for the head on Thor. Wonder Woman was skilled when she beat Thor in a Death Battle by aiming for the head, that's how you beat him. Vegeta always has a tendensey to use power and strength and believe that it's enough to win every battle he's in, when it takes skills and battle tactics to win in the end.

@@fujikurayami01 likely not gonna happen, DB have often got the results of other matches wrong and are due for said rematches to correct this (and aren't those fun stressful headaches) but only did so with a minimum of 4 matches or less when its suits them and funny enough one character in particular was given a pitty match. What's more is comic book thor does have more feats in his favor then what Kevin feige presented after shaffting thor, and DB prematurely gave vegeta ultra ego after it made one appearance in the manga (but that ultra ego flash was sick as hell) but if toriyam can further explore ultra ego abilities then hey maybe vegeta will stand a better chance.

They literally used Vegeta's Instant transmission when in the manga, its implied to be a one time move by Vegeta. They just gave this win to Thor just to promote the MCU rather than give the win to Thor because he can defeat Vegeta. Vegeta hakai energy alone should reduce him to dust 😂😂
Funny thing Thor faced that multiple times and Thor was in base form the whole battle. They didn't even use Odin Force Thor nor even his use current powers with he has Odin Force Thor, Gaea's power up and Phoenix Force Flames. Also Thor killed an Elder God and Vegeta is still weaker than Beerus and Beerus is weaker than Odin.

Just so you know, Thor was calculated to be 10 times stronger than you, and can move at maximum amount of speed as possible, making him around a quadrillion times faster than your light speed feats. Also your Ki reserves can last an hour at best, but Thor fought for over a month nonstop, and he has even had a millennia of experience, way more than you’ve had.
