According to a different thread. Ian Flynn who is the writer for the Archie comics said the data is BS. However considering that Silver went up against literal super deities in the Archie comics who are capable of borderline outer-verse level shit. I can see why Trunks lost regardless of accuracy. So either someone doesn’t remember what they wrote or we just got fanboys being fanboys in the comments. Because the feats for Archie characters are so stupid that they’re banned from being mentioned in most forums.
I hate how 95% of the people who hate these videos because "this doesn't make sense" don't bother to watch the explanations which explains everything. There's a reason why they used Archie Silver and not video game silver.
If you saw the statistics in the beginning you would know that the hedgehogs in super mode are able to survive timeline ending events. So unless a ki blast is able to erase an entire timeline then it's most likely not going to do anything to Silver in super.

@@Comic3665 If it's just normal Z Trunks, ignoring Super and Xeno, then normal game Silver is a fair fight. Silver's telekinesis in general gives Trunks a good run for his money. DBS Trunks high diff wins off Super Saiyan Rage + Sword of Hope and/or Mafuba. I thought Xeno Trunks had this, but once I saw that Silver was effectively a time paradox like Reverse Flash, I knew it was over. Most of Trunks' win-cons come from him not holding back at the start. He can kill Silver at any point provided he prevents Silver from going Super. Past that Trunks rapidly loses ground due to how the Super forms work.

Y'know, something I've noticed with character channels like Vegeta here when it comes Death Battle videos is that they never watch the pre- or post-fight analysis, so whenever they're like "Character A would kill Character B so EASILY" and then A doesn't kill B in the end, they get all pissy about it. And the thing is, it's kinda amusing at first, but the more often it's done, the more obnoxious it feels. It makes the characters feel inattentive and impatient in my eyes.
It's true that Death Battle gets things wrong from time to time. But there are also times when they are right. Let's be honest, the fight was over the moment they allowed the use of the Chaos Emeralds for Silver.
Well to be fair, this is well in character for Vegeta. Also outside the acting: It encourages people to check the original video if they want an explanation on how the characters won or lost.

Apparently My Saiyan Prince, This Trunks Is From an Alternate Timeline. He has the Power of the Same Trunks Of The Goku Black Saga, Also Becoming an Officer to The Supreme Kai of Time, The Time Patrol. That Part Where he threw the cards are actually Summon Cards & By the looks of it, It looks like he summoned GT Goku (Hence The Completely Visible Tail) and Pan. The True Reason Trunks Lost is because most of His Attacks Could be Countered. So Both Of Our Disappointment Is Immeasurable.

Low brow jabs and jokes at the DB fans expense, downplays against DB characters no matter what new forms or abilities they get, and more. It's fax though. Trunks or any dragon ball character for that matter isn't touching Archie sonic at all. You need to see what sonic faces in his reality to realize just how powerful he is. Solaris, a god capable of erasing time lines just by existing. The time eater, a deity who can not only erase time, but bring back stuff that already erased from said timeline (crisis city from 06). I usually don't like it when people go ape, dunk on other franchises, and baselessly start shouting about bias just because their preferred character doesn't win a DEATHBATTLE, but it is damn impossible not to smile while watching one of the Prince's videos. He puts SO much energy into it, and you can't even claim it doesn't fit. This is 100% how Vegeta would respond, regardless of whether the loss was justified or not. He'd be up there raging about how the whole thing was rigged and he could have killed the other guy in base with his eyes closed. It's genuinely a lot of fun.

I mean it’s kind of hard to judge the power levels of two completely different IPs and see witch own will come out on top. And in each of there own respective IPS they have their own strengths and weaknesses We don’t really know how powers and abilities are affected outside their own continuity so it says if we just did away with it all and it just be straight up throwing hands. An amazing reaction video I discovered here during my return binge watching of RU-vid content. In addition I too believe that most dragon ball characters that are featured on the death battle channel should have won their fights instead of losing instead. This is especially true for the characters who are more than a regular human in origin.
Didn’t you win your fight with Shadow Edit also didn’t Broly Master Roshi Android 18 and Hercule Satan win their fights DBZ currently has 5 wins and 4 losses well 5 if you count Goku’s rematch it’s quite even really Edit 6 wins forgot about Beerus vs Sailor Galaxia So DBZ currently has more wins than losses
3:00-Death Battle explained this before the fight. This is from Xenoverse,where peoples can travel thought timelines just for a game,but is also kinda cheating to include GT Goku and Pan when this should be 1v1.
