This is AOPA's test flight of the Velocity V-Twin. Impressive review.

I have to say this airplane is extremely impressive. I have flown the Velocity XL-RG shown flying in the background of this video. I am considering another trip to Sebastian FL to take a look at the V-Twin. The cost difference between the XL-RG and the V-Twin isn't much and I like the prospect of a twin engine for night flights. The full article says they are considering getting certification for this model to remove the experimental status. I think they would do well with sales on this model if they did. If it flies anything like the XL-RG it's a dream to fly and very comfortable. The XL-RG is very roomy inside for a 4 seat aircraft and has a great useful load, airspeed and fuel economy. It looks like they took all the good things from the XL-RG and brought them over to the V-Twin. The photos look like the interior is just a little more roomy in the V-Twin. I am looking forward to flying this one and maybe owning one in the future. Maybe far in the future, but it's a dream that will hopefully come true one day.
