Love this song Last fight.. I cried my heart out for days when learning of Scott’s passing.. didn’t know him but thought of him as such a resonating singer to my heart. So few people, singers in this world have made their way into my truest heartfelt love for their vocals.. Scott’s voice was real.. soul touching.. euphoric.. Praying for his children and family as their loss is beyond untimely as is ours.. the public.. a loss that has not been accounted for, replaced and never will be. Love in the afterlife to Scott Weiland.

Scott Weiland, I think Velvet Revolver with Scott was the last best of the best of the contemporary hard rock & grunge, so much style, so much versatility of slash as always, Slash he has never lost the touch to make those sublime and nostalgic solos, its just to much harmony poetry for the ears. I was thinking the same thing recently just now finally checking them out. I been listening to Velvet Revolver along with my usual Rocky Horror. Velvet Revolver was One of the last, if not THE last genuine Real Rock n Roll/ Alt Bands with Swagger! This band was like lightning striking! Magnificent, Beautiful, Powerful, and Electrifying to never be seen again

VR: The premier supergroup that was ever assembled, from my PoV, and perhaps even superior to my favorite band, Gn'R. If not for their tragically abbreviated tenure, it would've been truly a marvel to witness the stratospheric heights they would've invariably hit. Musical alchemy at its finest and never again to be replicated. Will always be one of the perennial "what if" incognito quandaries. R.I.P., SW: One of the foremost quintessential frontmen in rock n' roll annals.

They started touring for this album before it came out and I saw them in Toronto during that couple of weeks. We heard this song cold for the first time live and the crowd was mesmerized. Great show.

I will never forget the day I heard that Scott died. It was the first time I cried over a celebrity death. My husband and I had the radio on, as always, and out nowhere I heard, "and the latest update on the death of Scott Weiland..." my jaw dropped. My heart sank. I asked my husband if he heard what I just heard. I was in immediate disbelief. We saw VR in 2007, STP in 2009. Both incredible shows. RIP Scott Weiland xoxo

You were so loved, man. His ex-wife said (at least according to wikipedia and news/magazine articles) that his fans drove him to keep doing drugs and being self-destructive , and so it lead him to believe everything he did was ok. Out of all the dozens of major bands in countless concerts I have seen live, he was the most dynamic performer of all of them. I can see how she would say that. We are so sorry, Scott, if we pushed you too far. Rest now.

Yes, omg the entire CORE album was an absolute ear candy masterpiece! Sex Type Thing (that voice, um yea), Wicked Garden, Sin, Crackerman, Where the River Goes (slightly reminds me of AIC and Layne), etc. etc. etc!! All GOLD! Would be so hard to pick an ultimate favorite!
