We have friends in Venice who's bungalow has now sunk due to very poor foundation. A crack runs down the middle of their ceiling - it's just too straight to not indicate two half's brought together. Yes folks, most of these bungalows were created by bringing them in as two halves and then sealing them up. Greedy developers and land owners/sellers, coupled with a new generation that refuses to negotiate (or can't negotiate effectively) have lead to the outrageous price hikes.
