Thanks a lot Chef. Tried this exact recipe with kovakkai instead of bindi and came out really well. Changed the thalippu at the end to include mustard and urid dal to use it along with rice.

Do pyaaza means double onion. In this recipe, onion is added twice, in different cuts. And kasoori methi is dried vendaya keerai. Its added to many dishes to enhance the taste. Its not like kothamalli.

Do Pyasa as in double onion not two onion. It's a punjabi recipe where excess onion(two forms) is used along with the main ingredient like chicken, mutton Or a veg
