Hey Dale, wanted to make sure you knew that Venom’s pistols can be used to boost his defense when defending too - it says it can be used with any basic hero ability. This could have saved you a few hp along the way :) Anyways, love the marvel champs content per usual!!
Another great video. I was not quite sure how this one was going to turn out as it kept me on the edge of my seat. Absolutely love Venom as a hero and Venom as a villain and seeing the two of them go up against each other was just a comic fanboy dream! Cannot wait to see what your next match-up is!
Thanks for the play, Dale! I think you made the game last one more turn than necessary. At 26:47, on your second-to-last turn, if you had done 4 damage with Nick when he came in, then Sky Destroyer, then 2 from a Nick attack, Multi-Gun, and basic attack you would have done more than the 14 he had left with a couple left over from Coulson and Agent 13. Not that it mattered.
A very interesting game, Dale. I have two quick questions. 1. At 24:32 you could have used sky destroyer to deal more damage with sky destroyer. Why didn't you? 2. Do you feel like the symbiot suit has more upside than downside? You having to deal yourself another encounter card each turn can be catastrophic on expert mode so that's why I am asking :) what's your experience so far? Thanks!
@GoGo Reacts Thanks for watching! Sometimes I just don't "see" the entire area while working around a camera ... and not a fan of extra encounter cards, or the cost of 4. :)
@@DaletheCasualGamer that's fair, haha. I sometimes find it difficult to juggle all the phases and actions one can do. Right. So in other words you just used the suit for the thematics? Will you release a "top 10 favorite heroes" video soon? It seems to me like Ironheart is in your top 10, maybe even top 5 or 3. She's become my favorite or 2nd favorite hero (Venom would be first/second).
Entertaining game! Venom(the villain) can be really explosive and I love that about the scenario. Is there a reason you don’t use Venom’s Pistols when you defend to give him +2, though?
Hey can you answer a question for me? When building a custom villain, is there a limit to the modular sets that go in the deck? Like i want to give Rhino both the bomb squad and the goblin gear.
Nice job! This didn't feel as thematic as I would have hoped. For instance, the bell tower is intended to disadvantage Eddie, but practically it should also affect Flash. That said, it seemed like a good pairing in terms of what they both brought to the fight.
Haha what a fun versus combination. Although I assume Flash would wear symbiote earmuffs to combat the Bell Tower, this is another great playthrough :)
Really cool scenario, do you think Flash Thompson should've taken 1 more damage from each attack while the bell is ringing? The card only says "Venom" and doesn't specify the identity

During Venom's first attack that had all of those boost cards on Flash, why was damage done to your ally but Flash was stunned? I thought you can only defend a single attack with 1 character? I'm new to the game so a bit confused. Love your videos!!
Venom, Agent of Shield. Ok, sure. Why not. Well handled in any event. You went with Justice but didn’t include the Venom ally. It might not have been legal but it sure would have been right.
7:00 you can use the pistol to increase your DEF. And you had grasping tendrils, great card to use there. 9:00 you forgot to use helicarrier and that would have changed a lot of your turn. This definitely isnt your most focused gameplay hehe
Venom is one 🕜 f the few heros I have yet to get but every time I watch you play him he looks like alot of fun. Remember the number one killer of all heros is the dreaded surge combos 😂
At 3:22 you used the power in all of us to pay for Helicarrier. At 7:22 you used power in all of us again to help pay for Coulson and you hadn’t shuffled your discard pile back into your deck again. How?
@Michael Romano Power in All of Us provides two resources for basic (gray) cards and Venom has an ability to take a damage to create a wild resource, so that was the 3 resources needed to pay for the Helicarrier. Coulson allows you to take a Preparation card from the discard pile or your deck. As I took a card from the discard pile, I see no reason to shuffle the deck (that statement on the card to shuffle the deck is for if you actually look in your deck for a card). And I have a total of 2 copies of Power In All of Us in the deck. Hope that helps, and happy gaming!
