Lay down your souls to the Gods' Rock on Roll....I first heard Venom in '82. It was the "In League w Satan" single. Still n will always be my favorite band! Hail Venom's Legions worldwide!!!!!
The first four Venom albums are still pretty much bulletproof if you haven't checked out a band called Mayhem they do an excellent cover of Witching Hour on their death Crush extended play
These 2 clips are gold. I remember Much Music played them on the metal hour alot when they went on the air in 9/'84!---there were some good metal videos at that time but nothing was as insane as this!!! VENOM started the heavier metal scene that exploded in 84/85! & put out some of the best music ever. ----can't wait to see VENOM INC. in November
Interesting that the recording they used on the Bloodlust video was taken from the !984 Canadian re-issue of Black Metal on Banzai Records. You can hear the intro of Teacher's Pet at the end of Bloodlust here
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*IT JUST PROVES THAT VENOM IS THE MOST INFLUENTIAL BAND ON THE UNIVERSE! YOU ''FADE TO BLACK'' WITH {METALLICA} BEFORE YOU GET ''BURIED ALIVE'' WITH {VENOM}*
This is a video from live at Hammersmith U.K. from "1984" but is also the whole complete show after these 2 Promo,s. I have it on VHS Tape. I have it burned on DVD from that Video. Great quality the sound is much better than this upload! To distorted on here. It's from the Black Metal Tour."1983-"84 Tour!
@@NotesFromTheUnderground2 No it’s not. Check out the Combat Tour video. The Ultimate Revenge. I had the video when I was a kid . I’ve watched it probably a thousand times. Definitely 86 or 87
@@erichughes1166 If you notice on the ultimate revenge the parts for Venom are this promo and footage from the live show filmed in the UK not from the studio 54 show reason Mantas couldn't get into the country and they had two guys take his place, look it up that's why they didn't use any footage from that show.
@@NotesFromTheUnderground2 I definitely noticed a difference in scenery between Slayer/Exodus and Venom. I didn’t think it was the same building. It’s partially lipsinked as well because Venom were not a good live band. But by looking at their clothes and stuff it looks newer than the other footage I’ve seen from Venom.
What in Satan's name are you talking about? "At Dawn They Sleep" "Captor Of Sin" "Haunting The Chapel" Need I say more?? I think Not. Posers? I think NOT> They mite be old as fuk now but SLAYER were never posers, even when they wore makeup under there eyes they were not posers. I thought they looked cool with the black makeup.
@@darrinconnor7 they werent posers. I mean, they kinda turned shit with stuff like god hates us all. Sounds like that nu metal shit, but in the 80s, they were gods
