I found myself drift the same way as EJ like you said... If I'm going to a new alley I haven't bowled at where I have no idea what the lane conditions are going to be... The Venom Shock is the first ball in my bag because I know no matter what I'll be able to find a line with it... Then my second ball would be the Hyroad to step up to a stronger motion
Motiv just now introduced a new ball, the Motiv RipCord Flight. From what Motiv says themself, this is a great addition to the Venom Shock, with a modified cover stock they used on the Venom Shock, made for today's oil patterns.
Venom shock/jackal ghost is best combo ever hands down. I have the tank blitz and it’s incredibly smooth and continuous and it loves to drive through the pins no matter what hand position I have it in.
Hi Frank the Tank! This is a Nate. I was wondering if you could possibly do a bowling review on the storm axiom bowling ball when it comes out. No pressure man if you can’t that’s ok!
I am a two handed bowler! I love your videos, you have great content. I really wanna win a bowling ball give away, even if it’s a spare ball! Your just a great bowler and I enjoy watching your videos. Keep up the good work and keep making the best bowling videos on RU-vid!
I'v been watching in on slo mo, the reason why your not getting the revrate you want is because your not cupping your wrist at the bottom of the swing.
YES! Finally a motiv ball. As a Motiv user i was waiting for this to happen, and you throwing one. Thank you Frank! The Venom Shock is still a ball i wanna go get, because from what i've heard it's a must have in a Motiv Arsenal. From what i see in your 3 games, you clearly had to find that "sweet spot" to throw it on, but once you did, this thing didn't stopped striking, as long as you hit that spot, which was about 4 boards wide, so also plenty room of error. You made a few bad shots (mainly on the inside), but as you said in the end of your video, you were a little out of form But still this ball didn't like overhooked immediatly (even some brooklyn strike), and when wide it did recover. I mean a 262 game i have rarely seen you throw in your video's, 230-245 is something i have seen you hit more, but 260+ not so much. Also a very rare missed spareshot from you, because i really think you are a great spareshooter as well. The fact that you didn't leave any single 10 pin, shows what this ball is made of as well. I am a 2hander myself and my arsenal is Primal Fear, Cobra Venom, Hydra (yeah not nearly as big a arsenal as you have). I think you will really like the Cobra Venom as well, great complimentary to the Venom Shock i think. My next ball will be a Motiv Covert Tank, because i definatly need that for the high reactive lanes i play my houseleague on, and for short patterns and low oil volume patterns. I would love to see you make a video on a dual oil pattern, so left pattern A and right pattern B. Or maybe just not a houseshot, but a more challenging pattern. I think that will do you good as well. Keep it up,. and already looking forward to your next video man
The venom shock has way more of an angular backend motion compared to the pitch purple. The pitch purple is basically like the pitch black just a little more reaction. The venom shock is like 2 steps up from the pitch purple in terms of reaction
I bowl motiv i love there gear my arsenal is jackal ghost the villian venom shock midnight sniper for spares and have the forge fire in the mail to be delivered i cant wait
What ball would u recommend a med rev player who throws it 14-15 mph and is looking for way more hook on a bowling ball. I throw on a heavy house oil pattern and I bowl two handed like you. Edit: I was looking at a lot of balls and I narrowed it down to an astrohphysix, crux prime, ufo, omega prime, phase 3 and a nuclear cell
Uh astrophysics has r2s pearl which is a medium to low stregh cover you want strong solid covers like on the ufo or gravity evolve or crux prime for heavy oil
when you get more games on it let me know what its like. just sold mine not to long ago... got about 20 games on it and couldn't use it unless I hit it with a 500 pad but at that point it was shredding the lanes to fast for what the ball is supposed to do. this ball was wonderful as a two hander with the fresh cover but isn't useable after a while. I will say the jackal ghost is a beast. I have had it for a while and got a friend that's a 2 hander to get it and he is in love with it, nothing compares to that ball except for the new alpha. keep up the good work man!
Can you try to get a closer shot like a floor shot just to see the hook on the balls and maybe put up the ball speed to if that isn't to much trouble? #franthetank #suscribe #loveyourvideos Hope you see this Frank.
Quick question if you don’t mind. I see this ball is listed as a med-low oil ball. What was the condition of the lane you were on? Wanted to know how it may or may not effect. Thanks so much!
Well in my opinion it’s too aggressive for med low oil. However you can even that out by having it drilled the way I had it drilled so that it won’t be too much for med oil patterns. And btw I was bowling on a house shot.
ha i loved the sound bytes from rob stone for your split pickup, but they bowl on FOX now not ESPN! FYI! btw i dont have the balls to post my 3 game set on youtube so don't flame ME!
@@FrankTheTankBowling I am a two handed bowler and have been having some trouble picking up my spares I have been bowling about 8 months and only have a 160 average and barley reach 500s with sadley my high game only a 219 but I am very inconsistent causing me allot of trouble
all you can do is practice a lot. learn about the game and your arsenal and what type of ball motion you want when throwing the ball. create a consistent bowling swing that you can repeat every time. if you want your spare game to get better, start throwing plastic at everything. its a lot easier going dead straight at a 10 or 7 pin than trying to hook it once you become consistent.
Nate Z As a two handed myself, I go as right as the 40th board to start and aim between the center arrow and the arrow next to it with plastic/polyester. Normally, two handlers struggle with spares because we generate a lot of revs and throwing straight is somewhat hard. I’d just suggest you trust the aiming point you pick that works for you and trust the ball and your throw to do its work. Best of luck.
Lol. It’s not the first time I’ve done it. But I admit I got a little hot headed over a strike I didn’t deserve. And I should be keeping my cool about it instead of lashing out inappropriately.
FrankTheTank it was a love tap anyways haha, I’ve kicked it a lot harder than that, but I think we’re all guilty of something like this when bowling Don’t sweat it 😊
