Yeah, I can get behind this. Already established himself as a top 7 guy on tour, and ever since he got the swing tip from Belmo he’s took off. I think gems a dark horse contender for Player of the Year best season, as long as he can transition away from the old urethane.

I feel Maldonado is not only a decent 2-handed bowler but his sportsmanship attitude is the way all pro bowlers should be. When he wins he's modest & kind. When he loses he gracefully congratulates the winner. I used to "grimace" watching him bowl in pain during his back injuries but still he marches on. All pro athletes should use his demeanor as a "base attitude" of being an example to others. Just saying. I was once a very good bowler like my dad. He was the only one ever to bowl a perfect 300 @ Kaimuki Bowl during the rubber ball years & wooden floors. The hardest house in Hawaii. At that time it was a feat. Dad got cash, trophy, gold ring, tv, etc in the 60's. Pic in paper. I came a close 2nd there w/11 strikes in a row years latter. But i suffered a massive injury getting The Bends from a shark attack diving which jumbled my balanced usage of my right & left sides of my body. So i know the pain Maldonado went through as i still feel it even typing this today. I only recently found your site & subscribed. You have good vids sir. Thank you.

@@itchyscorpion7830 Yeah, but Belmo is like 39. Simo is 26. That's a 13 year difference between Belmo and Simo. Which means that Simo has 13 more years and more to improve himself.

@@itchyscorpion7830 there was an interview a few weeks ago on Darren Tang's channel asking every pro at the WSOB who the best player on tour was. Literally 95% of them said Simo. Ej said Simo. Kris said Simo. Packy said Simo. Darren said Simo. Tommy Jones said Simo Ej, and Belmo. Even Belmo at one point said that Simo was the best in the world. Belmo is still a monster, don't get me wrong. But at this point in time, Simo is the greatest in the world.

Um yes he is. Simo is about fifteen years younger than Belmo. Only a matter of time before that record is matched and beaten. Unless Belmo can do what he's doing in his 60s.

I honestly think Belmo is the most accurate Bowler on tour. Simon is definitely most versatile though.

Chris Via only has 1 title. That’s the big thing with him. When he wins more people will put him up higher

I highly value the US open, probably the most difficult tournament of the year. Jesper has yet to outshine his 2016 season, and some of his titles were from the doubles with Troup. So for that, Yes.

Belmo and Simo don't throw urethane a ton compared to others

Maldonado and Via both have two singles titles with Via having one of his titles as a major title. Putting them easily above packy and williams. Heck I would put Santu above packy and williams.

Imagine hating someone who bowls with no thumb. Bowling with no thumb, one-handed, is by far the most difficult inconsistent version of bowling that exists. You obviously only bowl on a house shot which makes your opinion invalid.
