“That starfish is *timestop* WHERE THE FU…. DIO” *from the shadows* “I’m here only temporarily, but, I have a son” “I know” *default dances* “YOU LITTLESHIT *star platinum’s hand goes through thin air* what the fuck” “Later joestar *does take the L as he fades from existence*” “Diooo”
@@esprero nothing about this is realistic but what I meant was this was the most realistic or the best way it would make sense that they would bring back dio
@AllNationSuperherothere isn't meant to be context for this ending or why dio is there, but even with some kind of context what you brought up would just lead to the events of eyes of heaven
I love the implication behind the time stop: he learned from Jotaro. King Crimson could technically skip over Dio's time stop since it's technically an "instant", but he waited until the moment right after the skip the same way Jotaro waited until after Dio's stopped time ran out.
while some guy is teleporting around and knives appearing out of thing air (timestop) (forgot 1 more thing, chariot requiem can be seen by civilians, so some blonde kid floating, pink hair dude screaming in pain, knives appearing out of nowhere, teleporting guy and somebody melting into the floor)
When I first saw the thumbnail I thought "Ah this is gonna be one of those shizposts where it's like "The same type of stand as Star Platinum" or whatever, but I was blown away by the quality of the writing, animation, and editing. Truly a masterpiece, amazing work!!
Both the worst and best part is that because of Diavolo’s death loop, this is technically canon. Edit: Why did the replies turn into a discussion about the death loop? Edit 2: For the people who still think the infinite death loop has stopped thanks to Made in Heaven, that is not the case. An alternate reality for Diavolo was created entirely;one which would not be affected by Pucci.
DAAAAAAAMN that was epic. The way DIO returns is so JoJo that it works perfectly. Also, the fact that this is basically his final send-off in a wholesome way is so unexpected but quite satisfying. At the end, DIO in all his life, only loved three people: his mother, his brother Jonathan and his son Giorno. Splendid animation! Truly a Golden Experience!
Holy shit this is the first time I've seen an "Alternate ending" that goes beyond trying to be a simple meme. I seriously can't get over how incredible this is! You had an amazing idea.
Indeed. The final attack will be known as “The Vento d’oro paradox”. A combination of pain and infinite death. *pre-order now and have a deleted scene of Bruno in the death loop torturing the boss!*
Just noticed, when "Shadow Dio" punches Diavolo in the face, he does his little trick that he pulled in Phantom Blood with his thumb, which is why his eye is all screwed up! Excellent touch!
Jesus christ, here I was expecting a meme that lasted maybe 2 minutes, but this not only brought in a genuinely well written excuse for Dio to show up but had some truly anime-tier camerawork and animation, amazing job (Also, hilarious detail that Dio shoved his thumb in Diavolo's eye, very subtle)
You put this into incredible words. I've seen another similarly titled meme video and with all the other 3D animated Jojo meme videos I wasn't sure if there was gonna be something silly happening. Truly though this far exceeded expectaition and gave us something incredible with a sort of wholesomeness you wouldn't expect with a character like Dio. Also didn't catch the thumb to the eye thing, ginna have to check that out
@@kserkez1763 I'll get there eventually. I was waiting for the anime (which has finally been confirmed), but now that I'm almostbdone reading part 7, I don't really think the Jojo manga is for me
I find it hilarious that Diavolo is putting his life on the line just to get the requiem because it holds so much power But when someone else got it he thought that it's so weak
The fact that DIO's silhouette at the end highlighted the Joestar birthmark hit me like a fucking steamroller. As if to say if he had to refer to himself by a surname anymore, even with his animosity towards the bloodline he showed in life, he would still rather be a Joestar than a Brando because it was still a name he respected because of Jonathan alone.
@@virtuallylightblue thats just due to the range of his stand being small he wouldnt have made it due to how bis timestop had shortened so jotaro wouldve felt it
some kinda open world jojo game with a 3d fighting style in fights similar to eoh, but probably way different movesets beccause of it being open world, and you can play through every storyline, and this is the secret ending for part 5's story line if you get all the secret jojotokens lmao. Part 4's secret ending would be Josuke and Jotaro killing Kira instead of an ambulance or something, or maybe it would go the meme route, with Okuyasu going all "ZA HANDO ZA WARUDO" and swiping Kira away in stopped time.
when I read the title, I was assuming this was gonna be one of those humorous parody alternate endings; but what I found was something much more cooler than what i thought it was gonna be. I can totally see something like this happening in jojo
Jonathan in the sky: Dio?! Where are y- Oh.... So Dio Started being gentle? That's good! Edit: Why does people can't write Giorno's name correctly? Example: Giorino and GiRoNo
even if dio is still being evil, he cares even more about his son than destroying the joestar lineage, he travelled all the way from Egypt, Cairo to Italy. Edit: i never had this much likes, well i once had in a tusk act 4 ora beatdown video but that video got deleted. Thank you guys
@@kevenwang2250 i mean, its not canon and dio has been killed by jotaro far before giorno entered passionin mafia, and that dio come to help his son when he aquired requiem is far from canon.
DIO is my favorite character, and the thought of him coming as the good guy it just made me shed a tear and.. this is genuinely awesome and this is such an incredible animation, this is better than the real ending if I'm not lying, I really want to see DIO again, and people might think I'm insane for making DIO my favorite character, but he wasn't always evil, he was broken.
This honestly kinda feels like a cutscene from an unreleased Eyes Of Heaven DLC, and I love it for that. Not to mention how exceptional the animation itself is. Do kinda wish Trish and Mista could've said something about Dio's sudden appearance instead of just being there, but this is still absolutely golden nonetheless.
Maybe the whole DIO and Giorno beatdown on Diavolo appeared to be weird Requiem stuff to Mista and Trish, so they might not have had any idea as to what was going on and they might not have seen DIO at all
nah, araki actually confirmed in a interview that if dio was still alive he will be a great dad of giorno because of his dad he didnt want giorno to experience what he experienced and eyes of heaven confirmed it too.
@@RisingSol Dio kept Giorno's mom alive for a reason tho. Through Jonathan's stand (which dio could use) dio was able to see everyone in the joestar bloodline from the past, present and future, and their locations. Dio probably saw that giorno was gonna be powerful and let his mom live so that he could use Giorno as an asset to help him. Not to say he'd be a bad dad or not, but he likely wouldn't kill Giorno just like that.
@@RisingSol he'd never admit it was better but there's a chance he wouldn't do that on account that by proxy Jonathan's sons have worse stans basically goirinio would be nothing more than a flex over the pure blood jojo's
This is literally better then the cannon ending, I feel like everybody gets goosebumps when they watch this. I loved Giorno's line at 5:18 - 5:26. And seeing Dio and Giorno punching Diavolo at 5:59 is just epic ;''')))
I definitely did not get goosebumps. This was fine and I enjoyed it as a fan animation but it's certainly not better then the cannon ending because it makes no sense in how Dio came back and he also wouldn't suddenly be a good guy and care about his son.
@@Redstar2613 You say that as if the canon ending made a ton of sense. GER's ability the pinnacle of asspulls. They just sorta tossed an "I Win" button on the end. At least with this, you could see it as an extension of GE's ability to create life, just amplified to the Nth degree by the arrow.
I actually think that dio would try to save any of his sons since he doesn’t wanna be like his father. Then proceed to ask them to help him destroy the joestar lineage
@@dimensionalwanderer7127 it has a range, it’s explained in part 4, where jotaro explains he has to get in range in order to stop yoshikage kira from activating bites the dust via timestop
Came back to this video for fun, and am now only realizing after the third batch of stone ocean has been animated, the similarities to Jotaro Holding Jolyne after making his return at the space center looks the exact same as 3:22 except mirrored for Giorno and Dio. The thought process that went into this video is crazy.
DIO is the coolest character in anime history. 4:58 and him just killing him with his own stand is dissrispect incarnate. This looks professional bro incredible. Amazing writing and insane animation. Thank you 6:55 I really started crying when this happened. I wanted DIO to have a closure for years and this is just perfect. This animation made me understand how much I miss DIO
@@dahnoet3521 That is the most stupid thing I have ever heard where does it say that time stop is a ranged ability it is literally in the name TIME STOP not time stop in a certain area.
@@dahnoet3521 During that scene DIO was saying that hamon gave him trouble a hundred years ago and that Joseph covered himself in hamon before time stopped. If you're talking about time stop and range you might be referring to the Jotaro and Kira fight at the end of part 4 in said battle Jotaro said that Kira wasn't in his range but he wasn't taking about time stop he was talking about star platinums range being two metres and that his time stop is only two seconds long which means that he had to get closer to do the most amount of damage.
THIS IS A MASTERPIECE! I LOVE IT!! Seeing together DIO and Giorno gave me happiness. Why is this so underrated?? Animation, lines, acts are so beautiful! I can't tell how much i love it!!
this is so fucking awesome im literally screaming with laughter from how cool this is. and you made it somewhat make sense to how dio is back and getting rid of his vampiric essence and the badass fight and to top it off the animation is in-fucking-credible how do you have only 10k
in several ways this is canon, the fact ger can kinda do whatever the hell it wants with time related things, the fact diavolo died. and more im sure i havent thought of
How has this not blown up yet?!??!?! This must have taken so long to make, and it was done so well! You have done such an amazing job! If there is ever a 3d jojo film, I want you to make it! Again, this is so good!!!
I like the idea that DIO's cloud is dark signifying he may be in heaven now but his actions now didn't fully redeem him of all the sins he's commited against the Joestars. Probably meaning he's gonna have to be doing what Jonathan tells him to until he fully redeems himself and is fully forgiven by Jonathan
Just found out about this animation from a JoJo's RU-vidr. And it was just so unbelievably awe-inspiring that I came over here just to comment. This is unironically way better than the original ending, BUT NOT ONLY THAT. This ending even explains why Giorno didn't show up to help defeat Pucci in part 6. It was becuase, maybe, even if just a little, Giorno now agreed with his father, and understood what he meant about achieving Heaven. I have seen many alternate endings and story arcs for JoJo, and almost always thought to myself "Wow, that's a pretty cool idea, I guess. But it would never fit inside the actual JoJo's franchise." And they'd always be like (and take this with a huge grain of salt, im not a critic) mid-tier *at best* animation. But this? This is not only animated so incredibly well, but the writing is also top-tier. Like literally, I honestly believe that this is even better than Araki himself has done for part 5. I should stop rambling, though, so TL;DR: I loved the project, and I love you too. Please keep making more.
Fun fact: since diavolo died in this video it means this video is a canon episode of Jojo and all the events in this video happened in the Jojo universe
Sadly my comrade,GER doesn't creat new universes to kill Diavolo,it just lock him in this one and don't let him die,I think after some time this would be a myth,a myth about a pink haired man who appears in random places around the world to die and dissapear
Ok so this conclusion might actually be better than the original ending, as Giorno's requiem ability to briefly reanimate one's lifeforce would definitely be more in line with Giorno's previous abilities. Not only is the animation great, but the writing is superb.
I'm not sure being in line with previous abilities should really matter though, Bites the Dust and Chariot Requiem are examples enough that Requiem isn't related to your existing ability, it brings whatever you need most in your current situation Chariot caused chaos and went beserk to keep people away from the arrow, Killer Queen gained the ability to hide Kira's identity no matter what, and GE got the ability to stop any stand
The cool thing about this alternate ending, is that it’s actually possible. I would have gotten on my knees and cried if Araki actually wrote it like that 🥲
Thanks muh man! If u check what I wrote u would see that it makes sense to think that since Diavolo is dying eternally, at some point THIS would have happened!!
Ah, i see what you mean, about the infinite death. But what I meant is that in the main story, that this was a possibility, but you’re also right about the infinite death. Thanks a lot
this is so underrated its insane, this is so good! with how you brought out dios picture so subtly and how it clicks at the end it made it all come together like clockwork!
@@biell9716 stands don't have "genders" some just appear masculine and others feminine it is a physical manifestation of their soul so id image the way they act also plays a part in appearance
I really love this concept for an alternate giorno, instead of a seeming unrelated "No u" ability it ties in to his original lifegiver powers, while simultaneously being just as if not nore powerful than the canon GER. I mean think about it, if it draws out people close to his soul that means that not only does he get DIO's op time fuckery, but he could potentially also summon Bucciarati, Narancia, or Abaccio (not sure how much help he'd be in a situation dire enough for Requiem bit it's there)
Diavolo after getting donuted: Impossible how could you have moved out of the way at the end of my time erasure. DIO: Call it a trick I learned near my death, I stopped time at the 10 second mark of your time erasure, though you may be able to avoid fate and use it to your advantage, I am able stop the gears of fate to use it to my advantage.
The way dio used King crimson against diavolo is so smart. He literally made diavolo donut himself (Edit: Holy fuck thanks for all the likes!) (Edit: bro. 1.1k likes? Holy fucking Christ. This is amazing!)
