Good day, Mr Flemming. I just want to say thank you for this video's. The Lord bless you with a very calm voice that's got a very calming effect on a Huntingtons patient (50 years old) that we are looking after. He enjoys your videos and looks them over and over. Thank you very much.
My name is Jorge Azpiazu. I have been in the production industry for more than 30 years. What you do is incredible. Excellent editing, super educational, wonderful photography, you make me feel like you're talking only to me, you have a perfect timing to capture the beauty and mystery of places that not many know. Thank you so much for making us part of your wonderful experiences and may God bless your talent to continue telling stories.
My parents were lucky to make this Inner Passage voyage up to Alaska on their friends yacht The OIC. They had taken other trips with them before. But we’re totally enchanted by this cruise in particular. Thanks to you, I’m getting to see what they experienced 💗💗💗
What spectacular scenery, and the interesting tid bits we get about Alaska, that we had no knowledge of!!! Really enjoyed the boat ride!!! Thank you so much!!!!!
Made the trip numerous times as a freelance Captain, beautiful photography, and outstanding narration. Brings back a lot of good memories!! It looked like that one anchorage was in Bottleneck Bay... Fair Winds!!
We have been to Alaska by motor home visiting many of the ports you entered, which was very nice. Your videos are extraordinary ! Having owned many boats and cruised the entire East coast and the Bahamas and Cuba, nothing compares to your ventures. Great job Mr Flemming!
Awesome!!! it's like watching a video from the 60s or 70s with that narration and music, the sight of modern boats gives it away ,what a trip,i really must go there now.
Mr Flemming u could be a narrator, brilliant everybody seems to really enjoy Ur video's like I have also, very interesting especially for someone like myself unlikely I'll ever get to go on an adventure like yours, but watching your videos is almost like being brought along, keep up the good work.God bless👍
Your three part series "Venture to Alaska" brought back some of our fondest memories of life aboard our pilothouse trawler. Although we were on a 49 Defever your route to Alaska almost mimicked ours. Thanks for taking the time to produce and upload the video.
Wow! - Good to see Prince Rupert, Kitimat & Ketchikan from this angle..... The coast - from northern Cal., all the way up to Alaska, is one of the most beautiful I've seen on my journeys across the world. and the pristine _smell_ from the coastal forests, just has to be experienced.....( BTW; The MY ''VENTURE'' was a true gem!) Thanks for sharing!⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
wow, ive watched a ton of adventure by boat vids but this one shines brighter. you've shown me places id love to visit but never will...what a beautifull part of the world.......shame about the pipeline
The so-called "Northern Gateway Pipeline" mentioned in this video has been cancelled as of late 2016, largely by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who I do not support for a lot of other reasons but he did the proper thing environmentally in cancelling it. The project was proposed by Enbridge Pipelines of Calgary Alberta and was massively supported by the largely foreign-owned and extremely powerful Alberta Oil Industry and the very Oil-Industry-supporting Alberta right wing Provincial Gov't at that time. In a few months the current left wing Alberta Provincial Gov't will probably be voted out of office in May 2019, and Trudeau may lose the Autumn 2019 Federal election, so there is a real danger this pipeline and the oil terminal which could ship a tanker every second day through extremely dangerous and rough waters may be resurrected, if there was a massive oil spill like the Exxon Valdez it could easily threaten southeast Alaska as well as devastate everything you see here.
what a beautiful country. Your video and scenery is amazing. i am from Ontario and have yet to experience this. thank you.. I feel s drawn to the mountains
This scenic and quiet beauty has to be shared either up close and personal or by video. Some things are so beautiful that words alone can not do them/it justice. It becomes a spiritual adventure so profound it will last a lifetime. Thank you for taking us along with you and for doing such a wonderful job of narrating. I was quite literally mesmerized by it all.
Years ago, I had thought to travel in that area on our boat, but the San Juan Islands held enough adventure to suit our family. We vacationed there in both power and sail boats. After seeing this video, my desire to journey further north is quenched.
This is a beautiful placed video with great land and seascapes with snow on the mountains , lovely part of the world it’s one for the bucket list.kind regards Graham
Excellent video, the best I have seen like this. You are brave and lucky to do this. The currents on the first part looked scary. Put more inside passage videos on please. Thanks for sharing.
one of the best videos, why? because we rarely see water , ice and mountains together, i love it, it would be a dream for me to have a trip like this, i would call it a trip of a life time.
Nice video, but keep in mind every stitch of clothing you wear, the boat you cruise in not to mention the fuel comes from oil. Until there is an alternative we are stuck with it. Now on the subject of oil - the dirtiest oil in the world is produced in third world countries - not Canada. It should also be noted that pipelines (which are heavily regulated in Canada) are the safest way of transporting the fuel. I could go on but I think you understand where I am coming from. Best regards
Ah yes. Now anti oil is the popular fad to feel righteous. How about actually doing something for someone than just complaining and feeling holier than thou you self-righteous hypocrite?
A 38' trawler in sound condition would be more than adequate to do such a trip. Just learn the rules of the road and understand how to read a chart and the tide tables and you are good to go. Actually boting up the inside passage is really very safe as you are in protected waters most of the way. Watch the weather, pay attention to the tides and keep a look out for logs. Everybody we met at marinas and elsewhere extremely nice and friendly. Go for it as soon as you can!
did this trip in kayak's 15 yrs ago.(( And no, not to Alaska)). 3 1/2 months of the best time of my life.. not quite the route this guy took but very similar Had my son and two daughters with me... A trip that will be etched on them for ever... luv ya guys
Es un país q me ubiera gustado mucho conocer y vivir en el , me comentan que es muy tranquilo, me encantan los paisajes. Únicos. Saludos desde cuenca ecuador.
There’s three things you sir are born to do 1- build Yachts (as I assume you own the company) 2- make wonderful documentaries. (You set the bench mark) 3- travel by boat. ( adopt me please 😁)
No matter which side of the coin you choose to stand on ... I would bet that for most of us, of all nations, as to what we preach, we would all fail any close inspection on our own lifestyles. Having said that, we still need to be better stewards of the environment and still live!
