I know right? Classical pieces from this time really make you feel like you’re doing/where the music is trying to make you feel like. Lacrimosa really makes you feel as if you are beating witness to the divine judgement of mankind, this one makes you feel as if you died and are descending to Hell. And metal tells stories using heavy music and vocals, making you envision what they’re describing. They both do the same thing when done well.
“I would like to write a Book which would drive men mad, which would be like an open door leading them where they would never have consented to go, in short, a door that opens onto reality.” ― Antonin Artaud
They could just submit to reality in the first place without the madness part. It’s less thorny I believe. May result in the acquisition of less hives and rashes and things of that nature…
I do theater and my director puts this music on during the battle scenes. now i've associated the two so much that i'm conditioned and as soon as i hear it i want to grab some guns and rush to war.
When my art professor asked what could be the sound of the trumpets played by the angels in the Giudizio Universale painting by Michelangelo, I immediately thought of this music. I don't regret looking at the painting with this background music full volume AT ALL. Feel free to try and let me know
The first 10 seconds told ya you were in for a ride. Whether it's going out like a badass or being the embodiment of chaos incarnate, it works for both.
Or even the toilet water rising up, causing the stool to touch your skin, so you keep flushing but the water just keeps rising and it overflows, with the toilet water touching your back shin. So you have no choice but to get up and take the toilet paper with you, and then the water just gets all over the floor
Pov: frantically finished a 12 page essay for your college class worth half your grade that you have been procrastinating on until a week before its due.
@@Lamiacrudesco "Build" implies constructing or creating something in an organized and controlled manner, while "pandemonium" refers to chaotic and disorderly uproar. The combination of these two words creates a juxtaposition of opposing concepts.
@@judgeberry6071 oh no no with "Pandemonium" I'm referring to the capital of hell build by Satan and other fallen angels in Milton's epic poem Paradise Lost.

This started playing in my head when I was rehearsing for a school play that involved a lot of improv the second the drama teacher said "just say some weird shit for this scene." No wonder he has a drinking problem, now...
