I think a lot of people just tend to forget that the jury doesn't have the luxury of getting to go back and watch experts on youtube break down what's happening in the trial, discuss it with other people who are sharing their opinions and arguments, and review the evidence/testimonies on a daily basis throughout the trial like we do. They get to do most of that, certainly, but they don't get to even START doing it until the closing arguments are finished. Aside from any notes they might take, they don't even get to review what they saw and heard throughout the day before going into the next day of trial. The conclusion seems straightforward to those of us who have been following the case for the last month because we have for all intents and purposes been engaging in public deliberations for weeks now. Expecting the jury to only take a couple of hours to do what we've spent the last month doing is a bit silly. I get why people do it, of course, but it's still kind of ridiculous.

As a 🇨🇦 I have no dog in this fight. As a rational being I find the reasonable doubt overwhelming. I hope the jury gets this right. I hope Ms. Read is acquitted and is able to grieve. I wish peace to the O'Keefe family as they learn the truth and I wish Justice reigns down on those who deserve it.

Mr. P- How do you maintain the absence of bias when you seem to, like Mr. Lally in his closing, ignore the final two Federal government witnesses who state conclusively that Mr. O'Keefe was not struck by a car. Also, do you think the Albert's presence at closing arguments and the judge's confusing jury instructions appear perhaps coercive to the jury and biased in the judges confusing instructions? Are you largely a prosecutor, sir? It seems that way in the majority of your case analysis videos. (I never saw you during the OJ trial, though, lol).

Do you guys really think 10 weeks worth of witnesses is going to take a few hours? This is the first time the jurors are talking about anything related to this with each other. They are being thorough on a very confusing case and don’t want to miss anything so expect 2-5 days, maybe more.

Didn’t the judge pick the foreman before the alternates were selected from the bingo drum? If so, what if the foreman was selected as an alternate? Or did that just assure that the foreman would be a handpicked jury member and not an alternate?

I would be angry and in pain if I was sitting next to the person responsible for my siblings death. The voicemails she left when she was drunk calling him 53 times after she hit him, calling him a pervert, and putting the kids down would make me angry too.!

Reasonable doubt is IF they had said it “could be from na automobile accident “ could be.. THAT is reasonable doubt. Which means she could have hit him. U can’t convict on could have. There is ZERO evidence she hit him. And let’s just say she did and the evidence said she didn’t u have to go with the evidence not how u feel. She is INNOCENT until PROVEN guilty and all the experts proved she was innocent.

Who cares. Theresa oh easy attempts to appeal. Karen isn’t special or different of found guilty. I’d suggest if she is guilty of let’s say manslaughter and her actions and her attorneys actions would make an appeal actually the longest shot ever. So the appeal will be denied. Hopefully she’s gets guilty.

If anyone asks you to be on a jury, you should say this. They will send you right home. In 99% of cases, the defendant doesn't testify. It's a common practice. The defendant must be either a narcissist and ignore his lawyers, or there should be no other way for the layers at all to allow such a thing. She said she wanted to, and her lawyers strongly advised against it, which I believe 100%. Anyway, none on the jury shall hold it against her. Otherwise, it's unconstitutional.

She has the right to remain silent and you as a juror (which I hope you never are) can't hold that against her. She doesn't have to defend herself, the state has to prove beyond a Reasonable Doubt and Moral Certainty she did it . Which they have not

I just can’t get past the third party expert testimony that said he did not get hit by a car. Compared to the prosecutions expert who isn’t actually an expert. This should’ve never gone to trial. The prosecution had access to that third party information but they still tried to make a case around Karen read and exclude the experts.

I’m assuming MCI Framingham, although there may be another prison for women in Western Ma. I’m not positive about that ! Framingham is where they tend to go !
