I don't watch many gamers in general, but I'll watch entire Grayfruit VODs. Just all around enjoyable. Maybe when the stars align I'll be able to catch a stream too.

Exactly the same with Cyber Hook, I guess all physics-y platform speedrun games have the same issue. Cyberhook starts sick as hell, and you can do some insanely cool strats, by then by the end it becomes "Perfectly swing through 1 square ft holes in walls in a slim corridor where touching the walls kills you :)"

Personally I think games like these should be challenging, but I like it more how Celeste handles it. The main story so to speak is possible without too much extreme difficulty but they make it harder by making people who want to collect strawberries have a harder time doing that, and then goes even further beyond with the dlc and sides. Having extremely hard levels near the end of the main game is fine but it will not be enjoyable for the majority of those who play it.

@@questionsayersee but as someone who’s played Verlet Swing and Celeste, I think there’s fundamentally a difference in how they can be precise. It’s the fact that Celeste is 2d and has pixel perfect hitboxes where Verlet Swing has detection spheres and an adjustable camera and is 360 movement. It’s so much easier to be consistent and precise in Celeste because you don’t have the freedom in Verlet Swing. Thus, Verlet Swing’s gameplay flourishes more with freedom and agility. But the devs tried to replicate the difficulty of Celeste by forcing you into a box in its later levels and making you do precise moves. It doesn’t really work

@@twodragonsmessingaround hamsterball on ps3 is hamsterball gold, but a bigger longer game mode added, that essentially makes it more of a 3d platformer

Yeah, I feel like the final world would've been a bit better if it were the first world of a hard mode campaign rather than being the end of the main level set. It's just a few steps too far compared to the difficulty of the rest of the game.
