Yep, worm castings are a light enough nutrient that they can be given to pretty much any plant, at any stage. As I mention in the video, I've given worm castings to very young seedlings
Well, thanks for sharing. Making compost is just like anything else though, always better homemade. I’d rather know exactly what is going into my compost because I made it myself. Also worm farming, as I mention in the video, is a very rewarding process. I also harvest what would cost hundreds of dollars a year from these 2 bins. It’s about 15 gal of compost each time, and I harvest them probably 6 times a year or so. That’s 3 full sized trash cans completely filled with compost. Commercial compost also uses the cheapest possible ingredients to get the job done. It all rots the same, sure. But does it have the same nutrient profile or the same microbial content? No where close. When I make worm tea with commercial compost for instance, I hardly see any foam (indicative of high beneficial bacteria content). When I use my own a rich foam develops extremely quickly, within 24 hrs or so of the 2-3 day process.
