I love your collection! 😍 I own a Park Lane carry all from 1937 and adore it. I was told that certain things went into it until I did alot of research and realised that the clips inside were meant to hold match sticks and stamps and not money and calling cards as I was told. Can't understand though why a woman would carry stamps around on a night out as it's not like there was room for a pen! 😆 I found an image on instagram of the packaging for my carry all and it indeed mentions stamps and also a comb which would have been extremely narrow you fit in the space available. They must have made very small items back then. I think your little purse in the gold carry all is actually a comb holder as I've seen this in other videos with the same carry all. They may have put money in it too though. 😍 Beautiful collection by the way 👍
