In this case, Scaramouche is the focus of the archon quest alongside a new character, it's not that surprising, but nothing out of the ordinary. You're not wrong or anything, it just sounds a little like this is a special case when it's not that uncommon. At least nothing that doesn't make sense xD tho scara is definitely getting the grand treatment

He was found by Niwa Katsuragi and brought back to live with him and the rest. He knew Scaramouche wasn't a human, and instead of being scared of him or chasing him off - he warned him others will try and take advantage of him once they see the feather. Katsuragi ended up sacrificing himself for the sake of Scara, being slashed in half by the craftable Inazuma claymore (it even has his name in it) by Mikoshi Nagasama - Who attempted to lock Scaramouche away so he won't tell the Raiden Shogun of his misdeeds (Katsuragi's the one who freed him) I suggest looking up a video on RU-vid, it'll explain all the connections way better than me
