Great catch... I ordered a 15T and they sent me a 14T I didn't notice it myself till I was editing this vid. I took the 14 off and sent it back in for the 15. Never ran it with the 14. Lol
Thanks for the vid! I’m about to do the same job on my Versys and this is extremely helpful. Where did you find out about using molybdenum disulfide oil on the front sprocket bolt? I was talking to the service department at my Kawasaki dealership and they told me to use Lock-tight. Also, I was asking them to get me a front sprocket washer and they told me “no need. We reuse them all the time.”
The moly was what was listed in the service manual I bought from Kawasaki. I got my washer off Amazon for a few bucks, doesn't break the bank to just put on a new one. So I did, but yeah you probably just could use the old one again. 🍻 Thanks for watching.
If you would have brought your chain adjustment bolts all the way in you could have slipped the chain over the back sprocket instead of taking the rear wheel all the way off again. Informative video nonetheless.
