Another great instructional video, My customer has a Sharp LED LCD TV LC-50Q7000U (2018) model basic smart tv with the same problem - cover pins 1thru 8 with electrical tape does the job every time 😎- language has no barrier in understanding electronic AC/DC principles 👍🏼 Thanks again my Brother from another Mother!
What the heck how the crap does that work? Why wouldn’t that part be covered from the factory on every TV. I’m no TV repair expert but this seems fishy.
It will work but not all the time. Also, there is no settings on factory mode to fix it because it is a hardware issue. And if there happens to be, you still cannot adjust it because the factory mode OSD won't pop up.
Think there is a short on the screen and this is blocking one side of that circuit, preventing the short from completing. Usually this takes trial and error blocking different sections of the ribbon cable to find the bad section.
Although ultimately the tv still has a short - and a potential fire risk but yes it works - I have a Hisense 50” doing the same but I’ll scrap it as I’ve ordered a new tv with 2.1 hdmi - but nice video m8
Hello, do you have a good idea for how to remove a philips tvc screen that is glued. I just broke a Philips TV 50pus screen, it was very firmly glued and used a plastic card to free the glue. There was a corner very difficult. The result is the screen is broken. Do you have a really good idea for how to peel off a firmly glued TV screen without it being damaged. Many thanks for your help.

I had the same problem with my toshiba 55L5550EE. I followed your advice, and the image reappears. But I have a single thick vertical white line on the right side of the screen. 8cm from the right edge of the screen. I ask for your help. Thanks a lot.
@@khalkhal2372 I guess these pins caused a short and error in tcon board. When covered they dont make contact with tcon board so no short (or fault) detected.
@@pascalphase2556 Well, it’s a common fix. Many video’s on this topic. It bypasses the clocksignal to the panel. But i’m not shure what causes the fault.
