I burned the motor out which was my fault. I originally wanted to use a 3S pack but couldn't get the CG right so changed to 4S. I meant to swap the motor out but forgot!! It will fly again!!
Been there, with an ancient hobby king 2 m. "fpv" - got a beautiful stream of smoke on the climb and had a short glide down. It was then I saw the "3s" on the side of the motor can 😅 The paper airplane did sound like it was going really fast... though it was putting along. It does fly really well and seems quite forgiving!
@@bokusimondesu It has a wide speed range, been practicing my high alphas today with a 7*5 prop. It's a lot of fun! Thanks for watching, have a great day!
Thanks Mario! I burned the motor out which was my fault. I originally wanted to use a 3S pack but couldn't get the CG right so changed to 4S. I meant to swap the motor out but forgot!! Take care!
That's what you get when you buy dogshit motors and ESCs. You won't have been pulling more than 20 amps with an 8x6 at 1400kv (but I bet you didn't test it). I've been running the same motor size, KV and prop size on an ancient Teksumo for donkey's years and it's never let me down - the difference? My motor and 30 amp ESC are from Emax. Also check the specs of that dogshit bundle you are using - it says 2 to 3S - you're running it on 4S

Those components are not bad. The motor burned but the ESC did it's job and shut down the motor but the BEC still worked as you saw in the video. Thanks for watching, have a great day!
