Very nice presentation as usual! Having dropped out of guitar for some time, and particularly out of the avalanche, the unending deluge of personal- and online-theory offerings, what came to mind was a line or two from Coltrane I read somewhere. To wit, he was voicing a concern about listeners perhaps wondering (objecting to?) whether his playing had become "academic exercises" . . . I guess the question is when and where does it cross over into music? Which one assumes is still the point of it all . . .
Great lesson Richie! The vertical triad pairs gives one additional harmonic motion and a wider range of notes to choose from. The use of sweep picking also adds to the vocabulary. Thanks for sharing!!
Very interesting, Richie. I understand it, and will give it a try. Can you shed some light on the course materials? Do I need to be a member of the website to buy it? Cheers from Montreal.
