Vertigo causes dizziness and an unsteady feeling. Sometimes people misunderstand this anxiety as vertigo. The nerve endings take the signal and travel from the ear to the middle of the brain, known as the brain stem. Peripheral vertigo happens due to problems in the nerve endings of the inner ear. A shortage of blood supply in the brain increases the risk of stroke and paralysis. If you have been experiencing vertigo more frequently, then you should visit a neurologist.
