LOL, looks exactly like and sounds exactly like the fan from the condenser unit for the AC at my house, the only difference would be that mine is running on 240 volts 60hz rather than the 50hz you're using.
Nice old condensing unit fan! With a motor like that I'd say its a run cap that it needs. motor looks the same as the one in my 16Kw Alcair. that needed a 5mfd run.
I don't have one just remember them from the farm as a kid and see them for sale all the time. They are about the same size as yours and run about 5-8hp
That appears like it was from an air conditioner one of those up right ones?ihave never Heard a😮 startup sound like that how many volts does it take to run it if you know?
2 requests 1. Can You Please Make a video of that barrel fan? 2. A video of what happens if you try to Power up that big fan with out giving it a little spin Please? Thanks, SE6794.
very scary start up sound being the frequency is 50 HZ here in the states the voltages and frequency is different with electrical power here as its mainly 60 HZ or cycles per second. and the motor type is a PSC permanent Split Capacitor type motor meaning you need a run capacitor my guess these condenser fans use a 5MFD cap im sure where u live u need a higher peak voltage run cap like a 440 Volt or thereabouts. as in the US with 60 Hz the motors tend to run a bit faster.
i cant get to the back one and the front one it is under covers. its a out door fan. i only use it 2 times a year. one day i will pull it down and get new bearings.
