There was two families there and the parents don't tolerate other gosling getting food that theirs should be getting. That what I think took place as it went running back in direction of parents.
That i, indeed very cute. I do have to recommend bringing some oats instead of bread next time. Bread is unhealthy for all waterfowl, but especially goslings where it can contribute to wing deformities (angel wing) that render them unable to fly as adults. They love oats, and it's much better for their health.
