I really wish HG would let you fully customize these palettes, so you could choose all the shades AND the outer packaging. I love HR powders, and these palettes are works of art. But I can never even justify putting it on my Christmas wishlist, because there are so many colors I would never use.
Same! Like c’mon it’s the least they can do for the price! It’s hard to justify if u already have more than one of the shades or know you’ll never use certain ones 👹
$30 for eyeliner is even crazier than $90 for a full face palette. I so admire Lisa Eldridge and would love to order one, but I will not pay that much for eyeliner.

You have to look at it from the standpoint of in the palette ur getting bronzer, blushes, & finishing Powders. If you were to purchase those separately, it would cost more than $90. So in the grand scheme of things, it's a good deal.
I love getting the hourglass palettes too. I bought all three but I changed the snake cover to the owl cover since this year they have customization. ❤

I travel quite a bit for work and I usually bring an Hourglass palette for a full face and eye look, they're perfect! Almost completely used up my Unlocked one by now.
I'm very intrigued by those hourglass palettes but I think I'll let them go, due to pricing (and my recent ability to buy more make-up than I will be ever able to wear). maybe next year! You look gorgeous, as usual, thanks for the reviews

I bought an hourglass pallette per your recommendation about three years ago, and I absolutely loved it. It is especially convenient for traveling. The only negative is the price tag. Thanks for reviewing the jellyfish one. I don’t think I will be buying it right now, but I will keep in on my wishlist.
I think the lip color you started with looked pretty with the eye look. The eye look is beautiful, but it wasn't bold at all. I could understand if you did a graphic eye look using bright colors, then using a more muted lip color. I guess I just love bold lipsticks, whether I have a bold eye look or not. I used a warm brown eyeliner for the first time about 2 months ago, the one from Laura Mercia. An my blue eyes turned even bluer if that’s possible. I will repurchase that eyeliner always lol

You are the one I associate most with Hourglass. I would never consider spending that much on face powder. But then I saw you with an ambient powder and I was like ooooo ahhhh.

You can see and feel that Lisa Eldridge is an A-celebrity makeup artist and an makeup artist for Runaways. They don't have time to fiddle with too dry eyeliner. The have to be creamy and have to work as an eyeshadow, too.

I immediately clicked on the hourglass link to order the jaguar palette BUT they had an Owl one and just had to get it! I love that you can customize which shade palette you want. I will enjoy this for many years to come ❤

I have 2 liners from Lisa, the green one and warm brown one and I love them. I also use them as eyeshadows. it's so easy to blend them out even to create a smokey eye look. They glide on like butter. What an amazing release.

beautiful! I love the snake hourglass palette the best even if it's a bit dark for my complexion. You're the second youtuber I've watched today that said the Huda pressed powder accentuated their texture/pores. I'll be sticking to the loose powder because I really like them.

This is my first year getting the HG edit palette. I got the jellyfish one but it’s on its way. I always wanted one but couldn’t spend that much on a face palette. But I had enough rewards points to get it for free. Can’t wait until I get it. ☺️

I know you don’t prefer to use eyeliners but this is stunning on your eyes. I love this look. How do you choose which lip combo to use depending on your eye look? I “struggle” ( feels like a strong word for makeup but in context) with what lip combo looks good.

How does it work on your skin? In super fair too but i like the leopard one/medium best because it has 3 blushes. Are you able to use all the shades? How is the bronzer?
@@Lemonade_Stand_ I’m Mont Blanc in Nars foundation for reference, I can use all the shades in the pallet, and the bronzer does look nice but is on the warm side.
