If you are a regular Street Fighter player, probably MAME and SF2 roms aren't something new. Rom Hacks such as Champion Edition M7 were ultra popular even back then when MAME didnt exist and we used to play hack versions in the arcades.
But this version is impressive. Zero800 managed to change fonts, backgrounds, sprites, character moves and not just change but add new moves and combos. Its truly impressive and probably the efforts costed him long time to complete. If you can, please visit the oficial website. He is brazilian, same as myself!
I made this video by myself and nobody from the development team asked me to do so.

I think the random distance between fighters at round-start is pointless and really awkward. Especially from the start of Guile's segment of this video where Zangief is literally in Guile's face. What made the hack creator think that was a good idea?

I have a question: is there a romhack of hyper Street fighter 2 the anniversary editions that includes the alpha variations of the characters? It probably would have to be on CPS 3 hardware but I'm curious if it exists.

Very cool but he really needs to fix those guile glasses they look so out of place. I would be happy to send him some pixel art if he needed a pixel artist.

issues with shadows at some point they are missing, and Ken's voice is just annoying " Shoryuken" you want to mute it

Was there ever a Rom Hack where for example they took the Street fighter 2 Engine and put in all the 1st street fighter 1 Characters and backgrounds and same sounds from SF1 ?

Huum not bad at all a few rough edges to fix but OK wonder if the 360 is on point now with the controller hahaha the snes sucked in terms of timing

When i got SFII turbo back in the day for SNES they show heights and weights in the demo. I always thought these were wildly off when looking at the sprite sizes. Dictator's height is 5'11" even though his sprite is taller than Guille's 6'1". Claw towers over Guille and many others even though he is listed at 6'. Can you make a vid that shows all of the characters standing up tall in victory poses and what you think their height actually should be? I would say something like this would be more accurate than the actual stats Ryu/Ken 5'11" Guile 6'1" Chun Li 5'7" Dahlsim 5'9" E. Honda 6'3" Blanca 6'4' Zangief 6'6" Boxer 6'5" Claw 6'4" Sagat 7' Dictator 6'2"

I agree that it's more pleasant to play! Because I'm a big fan of SF mechanics and not so found of KOF myself. These super jumps and roll overs doesn't fit SF2 very well. But in terms of work load and creativity, I think this one takes the cake!!!

Not bad! I never wondered how SF2 would look on CPS; but am impressed with how much could have been done on that older board! I guess in a different reality; SF2 could have been SF1 (which for many; it kinda is) and we could have seen more done with the CPS 1 and 2 boards. Really awesome job!
