Well I must have the cheapest blinds in the damn world because every time I try to do this, one of the ends would break on the one I was trying to get out. I guess it's off to Home Depot I go. I tried to replace 4 blinds. now I have no bottom blinds on any of my windows lol.
It must be me, 37 minutes later, I fixed 1 slat. First, I put it on backwards and then from sliding it in an out, I snapped the whole thing and had to get another one and tried again. And of course, that slat was an inch bigger than the last so I improvised. And yes, I did measured. After all that, I got the one slat on and went to bring the venetian blind up, but the tape made it stuck. So you know that one snapped off also. I got about three more to go but I think at this point I’m gonna go out and just buy a new one. I don’t know how you do it so quick but I certainly couldn’t. I did notice the venetian blinds with the strings are much stronger, cheap plastic , as opposed to the new ones with no string because by law, they don’t sell string ones anymore. Maybe your next video you can teach us how to put the tape on but then that was just another issue. I think the video is great but like I said it had to been me. Thank you again.
I'm dying over here because 60 seconds took me an hour to make the blinds beyond repair. It was a very clever idea though. I think my blinds are just too cheap.
@@lindakoberna3465 may I have a three bedroom house..my bedroom is the smallest one and I hate it because the beds against the wall almost to the window. it's a pain to make the bed but it's the most quiet bedroom as it faces the back of the house
No. You dont need to cut anything. The bottom of the blind will have two caps you can remove. You can slide the blinds off with this. I recommend everyone watch a different video.
@@AlleyPickedYou remove the bottom cap, which frees the string that pulls the blind up. Then you slide out the bottom blind and the broken blind and switch them. Then, you thread the pull up string back through and tie it again at the bottom. Again, just watch any other video and you can see how its done.
