We got in a very cool ex military Buffalo Mrap trainer vehicle. Its based on the older M923a2 5 ton chassis. This is a very unique piece that you don't see everyday. Its designed to dig up explosive devises as we show you in the video. By the end of this video we sold this unit but we have to do a couple things to it so stay tuned for that in the next video!

I spent 15 months in one of these suckers. I had truck 300, but we also used truck 002. Id trust that thing through hell and back. It saved my life and the lives of everyone in my truck when we took a big IED hit. We lost the truck but everyone walked away. I wish I could say unscathed, but all of us got a messed up at least some. A blast big enough to take out a buffalo leaves its mark anyway. Id climb into one today if needed. Its so cool you got your hands on one.

Thanks for your service and glad you made it back hopefully in 1 piece. But I don’t think that one would take a hit from an M80 fire cracker. They said its just a trainer and it’s only sheet metal covering it not plate steel.

That's the baddest grocery getter if I ever saw one. I saw brand new mrap seats for sale online in a government auction. Each is air ride. Very cool. You definitely need to be making that type vehicle!!! I bet they will sell like hotcakes!!!

I worked on the original Block 1 vehicle-mounted mine detection (VMMD) project, and then Block 2 the ground stand-off mine detection system (GSTAMIDS) for the U.S. Army Night Vision Laboratory. That vehicle is Block 3 (the third version). The Block 3 prototype used a lot of the systems developed in the other projects.

I have seen military vehicle that wasn't even out of the testing phase. Loaded on semi covered up but was uncovered at the proving grounds in northern Indiana. MRAP style as well. Place i worked at built parts for different MRAPs. Are part was actually tested and then once that test was done they sent them out to actually have them blown up to make sure they passed a bomb.

Enjoy ur vids Clint… For some reason this one made me appreciate a good coworker, one that is tha same everyday, has a good work ethic, has a good sense of humor, easy to get along with and just generally fun to be around. I thought about this thing quite a bit and it does remind me of something the army had but nothing like the hydraulics system on this one. I am talking the seventies so it was a cable machine with a lot less joints. I can see that knowledge of hydraulics is very important for a minimum of two people to operate

We used to have a Mac dealer back in the 80's who had a socket with 1/2" drives on each end. The Mac (actually an IR) would turn the Snap-on's backwards. Snap-on was good, but we had a really good Mac dealer. We worked in a heavy truck body shop in OK, we got our share of everything huge thanks to the oilfield. Those boys can break or twist ANYTHING lol! I enjoy watching your videos, makes me miss those shop days (sometimes lol) "Really, you twisted an Autocar, double frame rail winch truck into a S shape?...............how.........."lol

Awesome thanks for sharing I was showed how to use the witching rods to find pipes from a old man when I was a kid I thought he was crazy and messing with me but they work I’ve found pipes that the crews couldn’t find to mark them I found a pipe in dads yard he didn’t remember was there he had put a new water line in year’s earlier and I found the old one about 30 feet away from the newer one I found it to lol crazy how they find it
