WOW, it just felt like I was hanging out with the guys talking guitars, food, cars...you know, shit like that LOL. Jeff was so into this, it was great to see. Devin's commentary on his use of different guitars and the writing process with his Kiesel was so honest and enlightening. An excellent and informative take on a way to best take advantage of this "different type" of guitar. I think it's safe to say I should start saving because the " Captain Long Balls" signature may be on the horizon. One of THE BEST streams ever. Hopefully this will be a thing and you guys have him on again once again. This made my day, thanks!🤘
Glory, I have no Idea who this fellow Devon is ! My loss no doubt I'll give a listen ASAP. I do own a HH2 though and its a great model ! Props to Kiesel and the build team for building such a useful tool and it has some visual appeal too. Go Kiesel !
I was so curious to these particular guitars. Headless Kiesels. And I’m a huge Devin fan. If honestly Devin can put to words what I’ve been so curious about, maybe I should stop procrastinating and get one. Hopefully the showroom will be open when I’m back in California
i love the stormbender but $30000 Canadian is not reasonable for even a handmade guitar with the best woods and hardware. I hope Kiesel can build a Devin Townsend guitar that an average person can afford
they do make a version with scaled down electronics, hardware etc that go for much more reasonable price. from there you can upgrade the pickups etc. They are just kinda hard to come by.
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the thumbnail - Devin next to Jeff? What a lovely surprise. I think this is the first time when Jeff was listening more than he was talking :)
Awesome video Kiesel crew! Hey Devin have you tried the Leia model? It’s about the same size as the Holdsworth but it has cutaways and bevels. (I ordered one myself) 👍Thanks for sharing your opinions on the Kiesel product such a great conversation and such great ideas being thrown around.
If you want to get an idea about him as a guitar player, look up "Devin Townsend EMGTV Willy Wanka" - if you want to check him out as a singer, try the EMGTV - Kingdom videos on RU-vid. He started as the singer of VAI at age 19 and has been putting out a lot of different music ever since.
