My father suffered from that so I can relate. He didn't remember any of us his kids but he remembers only my mum. Anytime I came over to see them , he will ask my mum "who is this pretty lady?" I couldn't believe that my dad couldn't remember me his favorite child. For me, that was a painful experience. 😭
