You’ve probably heard about the Lynx has a system implemented against hall sensor failure. What we learned from talking to Linnea and Lin is the speed it is activated. It is 7km/h and faster. So if you have the hall sensor failure happening at high speed, the wheel still keeps its balance and is not blocked. Hearing the warning signal, you slow down and step off at 7km/h. And you most probably can save the wheel from falling.

Yes we heard about it, when it was first introduced in the Abrams. It was introduced with a firmware update which means every wheel on the market, could have the same protection against hall sensor failure. But hall sensors don't normally fail left and right so this feature, while being a nice thing, is blown out of proportions.

@@konditor that’s interesting! I am from Slovakia and it’s really hard for me to understand like 25% of this because of quiet voice, but mostly because the intonation is missing and that can help a lot.

Yeah, some are mixing up the spelling, and to be true, many Wolt delivery guys are on Voltride- delivered unicycles or scooters. We may say that Voltride wheels are powered by a lot of volts and Wolt delivery guys are powered by Voltride. Or may be this does not make sense : ) Just some off-the cuff comment. Enjoy your ride!
